Hi, How do I force measure numbers to appear in EOF? I know that in some of my tabs the measure numbers appear, but in the one I working on now, I don't see them. I see a bunch of red "p"s but I really want to see the measure number so I can fix my GP partition correctly. How do I do that? Thanks, L

HI, I'm a bit bummed trying to get a CDLC in acceptable state to submit, Right now, I have two problems: 1) Whenever I export, I get a warning about slides that don't have an ending note, and it will slide up one note. The problem is that I went through all of such slides in EOF to add an unfretted slide (using Ctrl-U) and still, I get this error. In the generated file, all of my unfretted slides have disappeared. So I have to redo them; :( I'm using the latest version (Jun 19). What am I not understanding? 2) My tone sounds far away and muted. I modified it in RS. Then I went to the tone and put the same parameters in Custom Song Tool Creator, but the tone still so…

like the header says, i'm interested in finding a manual or some listing of what options are where in the program. i've been through several of the tutorials, but still find myself missing information on certain topics. it seems some of the tutorials take a lot for granted, or don't delve into areas that i'm finding issues with. some type of reference would be wonderful for me as i'm an antique that likes to look through manuals for know how, not just search and find. guess as i get older my patience for finding things is less. thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Hello. I tried doing my fist CDLC project, when I try to run it in RS 2014, the preview sounds like its on fast forward or something, and when I load it the board is empty and the song stops. I have no idea if its a problem in EOF, wwise or Rocksmith toolkit. 1. The tones won't change. the in-menu lead guitar tone (tone slot 1) get swapped out with the base tone at the start of the song, but that's it, the wah-wah and distortion never kicks in. This is probably a noob problem (I am a noob tho. this is my first go at CDLC-making). When I save anything in EoF it does not appear in my "normal" folder (see pic) and vica versa. This isn't right, is it? Also when I make a audio preview it doesn't show up in either. Please help! So, first time trying to do this, only really doing it because I really want to play Great Southern Trendkill. Probably a bad song to try for the first time since the waveform is just a mass of green from top to bottom. I'm really not sure what i'm doing wrong with it though. I've slowed it down to a snails pace and i've got the first set of rests set with the music but it loses sync mid bar and well frankly i don't know how to fix it, i'm going to try that autosync program a few of the tutorials have talked about, but playing the tab through tux penguin it sounds right, but when its in EOF it definitely does not. This is probably the dumbest question you've had on here in a while but I couldn't find the answer on the board even tho its probably already there. Question is in the guitar pro file the tab is split into different parts, how do you get them all into the song? like the one i'm trying to do has "Muted guitar 1" Distortion guitar 1 distortion guitar 2 etc, when I import the tab it wants to overwrite what I already have in there. i am using go play along for getting the notes in sync then opening EOF saving the file etc when i open WWise i cannot find the WAV file a what am i overlooking ?

Hi guys, I'm helping remaster another user's custom song, and I'm not sure how to add bends or pre-bends to the notes. I've checked the note modifiers menu, but I don't see anything for bends, which directly results in the inability for me to add pre-bends with tech notes. Could anyone break that down for me quickly? As the title says, if Edit -> playback rate is set to anything other than 100% and i click play, EoF crashes. It happens on any song if I just start a new project and try to play it at a reduced speed. I'm using the latest hotfix, 5-3-2016

It's most obvious on the bass path, the first few purple bars for eg, show zero notes in game at max difficulty. I'm sure this is a result of the way I'm making the DD (copy master track into lower levels and deleting notes I don't want on that level), but advice on how to fix it would be appreciated - and perhaps adding a check / warning in EoF when someone does something stupid (like I am) might be worthwhile. I'm trying to figure out how to display phrases like this the most cleanly (assume a "let ring" there): Ideally, I'd like the arpeggio/handshape functionality to display the 1 & 3 fingers at the first & second frets throughout the whole 4-chord sequence, while keeping the standard chord boxes, but this doesn't appear to work. With no handshape/arpeggio marks, the result is as expected, with "different" chords showing up for the 10 & 02 blocks, and the fingerings appearing & disappearing per chord: If I add ghost notes to fill them out, the fingerings still don't display. I cant seem to figure out how to find the XML file output by EOF. After saving I cannot find it in my folder.

I noticed EoF is saving my backup files as extension .BAK instead of .eof. As far as I can tell, the BAK files can't be accessed in EoF. Checked the settings and didn't see anything. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, I tabbed a song in 3/4 using TUxGuitar/GP5. I imported the audio in EOF and aligned the beat map correctly. However, when I import the file in EOF, the notes don't align with the song. They are slower. I used the "Estimate BPM" function and it worked correctly, since the metronome aligns with the song. Is there something I'm not doing correctly or am I supposed to use a different approach when not using a 4/4 song? Thanks, L
