Hello everyone. This new subject to talk about the musician's material, ie what material you use for your group or only you and what configuration. Material reviews are welcome. So I start for myself: I have a silverface bassman amp 50 from 1969 ab165 associated with a 2x12 cabinet with hp Jensen P12Q. im looking to move away from Rocksmith and play with real people. Nothing serious, just throw back a couple beers after a hard day of work and rock out. thing is, I don't know anybody where I live now. Can I get some pointers on how to start a band when you don't really have friends (this sounds more dramatic than it is really) I'm thinking maybe put up some flyers at local music shops, will that work or am I wasting my time? any answer is appreciated

Hell of a song. Sounds like they're going for an Ozzy/Alice Cooper sound that I am way down with. Not that I'd be any other way. They're my favorite band but this new song, in particular, is great! Cardinal Copius has some DANCE MOVES!

Norwegian Black metal, \m/\m/ Personally I like it a lot, only one song I am kind of "meh" on. A lot of the black metal purists don't like it, but most of them stop listening to Dimmu through the years as the line up changed. There is quite a bit of Dimmu on the custom forge too! Check out their songs on here they are all really fun to play. Maybe someone will upload some new songs off of this new album, I have the links to several tabs already if any charter is interested on a side note.

I'm still getting familiar with my "New" amplifier but i can't make a good tone on my own. I think i'll do what everyone else does,keep the amp with a clean tone and make distortion tone with a pedal. I've recently formed a budget and I'm looking to purchase an "entry-tier" 7-string guitar that would be adequate in regards to price/performance. Was just looking for some input on other players preference, advice and experiences? I have used a wireless system in the past for my bass guitar. Although sound wise I didn't notice any difference in sound quality I did on occasions experience some interference. After about 1 year my system packed in and due to cash flow I reverted back to using my D'addario custom cable which delivers amazing sound quality with no interference. One difference I have made since using my wireless system is upgraded my patch cables for my pedals from D'Addario classic cables to custom cables. I know the custom cables have superior shielding so I don't really know how much difference it mi…
