Hi, I consider myself an intermidiate guiitar player. I am currently able to play at Sabaton 40:1, it´s a little tough on the solo part, but I am able to manage. Could someone please recommend some easier songs or at the same difficulty level of 40:1? I really love Power Metal, but those super fast sweep picking solos are too brutal at my current level and really frustrating. Sorry for the bad english.

greetings to everyone I'm looking for a charitable soul to make us a little tablature of old of asgard's take control music. This music is huge, I just discovered it in the game Control (just as huge). Whoever manages to lay this tablature and a living god for us;) Here is the music in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0QsHKH77MI

Hey all! Sorry if this question has been asked 100 times, tried to search but couldn't really find a match... (my lack of search parameter skills more than likely) But as the title states, I would like to play my bass thru my amp, then thru my PC. Can this be done? And if so what gear do I need? I want to do it this way as it is hard to hear my Bass thru Rocksmith. And I have noticed if I THINK I sound good in RS, then plug into my amp... the amp REALLY accentuates those areas where I DO NOT sound as good as I think I do! Any help would be awesome....thanks in advance all!

Sorry for describing such a physical trait but i have no other way to ask for a band i saw in youtube that now i cannot find nor i have idea what their name is. Lead is a fat female young guitar, that sweats like mad, and plays like she is in the middle of a vudu exorcism. Is this enough for someone, because i found them without purpose so many times that i though they were well known but now i no longer find them.

I am just getting started on Rocksmith with a bass guitar. Looking for recommendations for a set of headphones that really lets the bass guitar shine. Not some over amplified, feel in the chest, bass drum thumpers. Spending maybe an hour looking online the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x's are highly reviewed. Only cost $150. There is also a Blutooth version I could get for casual music listening. But I want something that will make the bass guitar pop on Rocksmith. Thanx

Anyone in here use Guitar pro a lot and are pretty good with it? Because I'm completely lost and don't know what I'm doing. lol. I'm basically trying to create this tab: https://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/chthonic-legacy-of-seediq-tab-s415982t1 Into Guitar pro, but I keep running into problems. I keep getting a pause at the end of a bar, and it doesn't keep playing smoothly like it should. it might have something to do with time signatures, but no matter what, I always get a pause. Or anyone know any good tutorials that would help me better understand how to use guitar pro?

Hey, all... I just saw where Dick Dale passed away, thought I'd pass the news along to any of his fans who hadn't heard, yet. I loved his surf songs and awesome sound for as long as I can remember. "Pipeline" [with SRV] is undoubtedly my favorite, but "Miserlou" is absolutely iconic in the surf rock genre. Anybody have a favorite Dick Dale tune to share? Mr. Dale was 81. R.I.P., sir, and thank you for a body of work that has touched and enriched so many lives.

Ok, so this post is slightly Rocksmith related - hope I've put it in the right place! Some of you may know that I have basically (no pun intended) learnt to play bass, pretty much using Rocksmith alone. I think I started January 2014, and with a lot of help from the Championship on here, and some excellent Charters, who keep this place going, made massive improvements. Well, about a year ago, I joined a covers band. It was a good learning experience, and with a few one to one music lessons, it managed to wean me away from Rocksmith, at least a little. Anyway, last December I was kind of headhunted by a "proper" band. After umming and ahing over Christmas (was I g…

I've recently started playing bass in a band and have been requested to learn a fairly tricky track of theirs. I wondered if there was anybody that I should contact in order to get this track turned into a Rocksmith track? Although I don't wish to learn the song through Rocksmith 100%, I feel as though perhaps going down this route would help me in the long term. Has anybody else ever made this request? thank you.

Can you guys look into hosting the customs? there are so many dead links, crappy download services that install viruses. It would be so much nicer if they were all on a single source and we didn't have to worry about them vanishing. it's only a couple gigs of files so cost shouldn't be much at all, like $60/year in data. I'd donate some support money for a feature like this.

Hey folks, I’m out here still plugging away at try to learn how to make these (CDLCs) myself -- I’m confident I have at least a 10% chance of success, but then again, I’ve always been unrealistically optimistic -- and I am having a booger of a time locating bass tabs for a couple songs. Murphy’s Law dictates that the only two songs I want to use as my “learning songs” aren’t in the usual tab sources. It figures. I’ve looked on BigBassTabs, Ultimate-Tabs, Ultimate-Guitar, 911Tabs, Songsterr, and MusicNotes. Does anyone know of other sources for bass tabs, especially any that can be used with the CDLC Creator? I don’t know that the particular songs are relevant, but …

Hi, I'm new on this forum and really fond of the Smashing Pumpkins. I don't know if it's the "good place" to post but, I wish I could know if any of you could (re)activate the link toward "The aeroplane flies high" CDLC (because it doesn't work anymore...). By the way, I was wondering if any of you have project to post on this band. I'm looking for "Marquis in spades" and the fabulous "Crush". I've begun guitar a year ago and RockSmith' CDLC really helps ! So, a big thank you for your releases. Power chords rules !

As I've grown more accomplished, I've come to notice that some transcriptions make choices in note placement that aren't as simply as they could be. An example would be playing an A on the fifth fret of the E string... instead of simply using an open A where it would make an easier transition. Obviously, transcriptions originate with someone hearing or picking out the notes, but some bass lines seem to jump all over the place instead of staying closely packed together. When learning a new song, I regularly find myself altering the note choice to simplify things. Do any of you do the same thing?
