After my World Cup thread I started you may have guessed that I love my footy! The new season starts next month and I can't wait!!! Who do you guys support..? I know it's sacrilege to say this, but I just don't learn through Rocksmith. Probably because I don't have much skill to begin with, but even slowing things down doesn't really help because I find myself looking back and forth from the frets to the screen and hopelessly losing my place. I know you can Youtube a lot of things, but I really just want to learn "Sweet Child O Mine" from start to finish but all I find are videos that do pieces of the song but nothing that puts it all together. I need this dumbed down for me, is there a site or a video that goes step by step from start to finish? Thanks

Just out of curiosity, how many of the people here have tried out playing songs in the other tuning than in their intended tuning? I just tried out playing Akira Yamaoka's Promise in D tuning instead of E. IMO, it sounds really freakin' cool! It gives the song a whole different kind of feeling.

I'm 42 years old and from the Netherlands, started playing since 9 months now and after a month picked up a copy of RS2014, which made the progress a lot easier I must say. Played mostly original DLC's until I discovered some page mentioning Smithy anvil, but it was overhauling or something... On youtube I came across people who mentioned CustomForge and so here I am people... Must say I love what I've seen sofar, that goes for the CDLC's aswell as for the community site and its members. this is what i learned from rocksmith, there is no better place for learning scales than the session mode i think... its the pentatonic scale now. i know it in all the positions from A to G. now i gonna learn another one ;-). thanks for taking time to watch my video. I like to hear "Good Performance", "Masterful performance", even "Decent performance" is ok, but what I really want to hear after a hot jam is, "Holy Shit performance". Do you think there might be an unlock for this? What would you have the game commentator tell you?

Yes I know it seems odd to post this here, but there's not a big music community really where I'm from. I'm looking for one or two people with whom I can make a alternative/rock band... If long distance we could record seperately then edit our parts together. It'd be really awesome if there were someone in the Ohio area. I've looked everywhere for some songs that I'd like to play, like Mama's Song by Lynyrd Skynyrd, but had no success on finding them.
