Was looking for the cdlc for We Care A Lot that was used to make this vid. I contacted the guy that made it and he said he got it from here in 2015-2017, but no longer has his cdlc folder? Would be cool to get hold of that or another version. Thanks!

Hello, CustomForgers. After a few false starts, I've finally started to be able to finish my own CDLCs. While I have the ability to manually enter in notes accurately, each song takes ages to do from scratch. For that reason, I managed to save an archive of 120,000 gp5 files a few years. It has since disappeared from the Internet and I cannot find it. I'd love to start cranking out CDLC, but I don't have enough tabs/sheet music/guitar pro files. I have SmartScore, which can turn sheet music into midi, which can then be imported into Guitar Pro. A fat stack of accurate sheet music would help me, as well, since they take only a moment to convert. …

No doubt many of our Charters have parted with their hard earned $ to gain Ultimate Guitar's "Pro" membership and gain access to their "Official" tabs for purposes of charting CDLC, as did I several years ago. Some months ago I discovered that the "Download" button had disappeared from these "Official" charts. UG now claim that we were never supposed to be able to download "Official" tabs and if we did it was caused by a bug. I tried the nifty Chrome extension UG Downloader, but that leads to an Access denied page for "Official" Tabs now. So before I cancel my UG membership, I'm asking, has anyone found a workaround for downloading these "Official" tabs (for which I…

Hello, when my Rocksmith 2014 profile is loading on my machine that is painfully slow while "listing the downloaded content". It seems to last forever. Just watch the video here: 4 minutes! Are there tips and tricks to speed it up? Is it due to the number of files I have in my library? If so, should I start Rocksmith 2014 via SongManager with a smaller set of songs? So I am trying to do a cdlc for Human Fly by The Cramps. Youtube of the song is linked below. Poison Ivy plays lead. She plays a Gretsch 6120 with heavy strings, Fender Pro Reverb amp and a Fulltone tremolo pedal. I might be able to figure that out in tones, or just misappropriate a surf tone and go with it. But I have no idea how to come close to the tone of the rhythm guitar on this track. It sounds kind of buzzy like a fly. Any suggestions?

I finally found some time to learn the process of creating CDLC and for my first attempt I transposed Tomorrow's Bad Seeds - Uplift from a tab on Ultimate-Guitar I have only been playing guitar for a couple of years and not sure about the tab so feedback on that would be great. I find the solo seems like it has too many notes. But also I went through and set the phrases a bunch of times and at first it worked I had Intro->Verse->Chorus->Post-Chorus->Verse->Chorus->Outro but now there are only 3 phrases and all the hand positions have moved around. I just got back on here and started making CDLC again after about a year off. I noticed my song "Chasing Dreams" by Miss Fortune was taken down because the download link was broken. I don't think I ever changed the download link, but regardless, is there any way to revive this DLC post since I have a working link now? I know I can just post it again but I liked seeing how many people had download it and seeing everyone's comments and everything else. Any way this CDLC can be brought back from the dead? I did some Dick Dale CDLC, but just used Clean guitar. I know Dick Dale uses an early strat, a Fender Showman set to "blow the roof off" and spring reverb. The ODLC Miserlou sounds pretty good. How would I extract the tone from Miserlou and use it for my CDLC?

Hello, I decided to give making my own CDLC a try. After failing miserably because I picked a song that was way too long and complex for my learning I decided to make Danko Jones - The Twisting Knife. Things I know so far: Tone - Not 100% accurate, mostly because I grabbed the first distortion sound I found. It works pretty good but there's no separate lead tone, which I will try to work one but in 20 years of playing guitar I've never been a tone guy, so we'll see. I really want to play some more vocaloid songs on bass. Has anyone made any? Particularly I'm interested in Omoi and KurageP. If not, can someone make some? If not, then can I get some help charting? I would chart these myself if need be. Is there any way to import a midi file? Or is it better to reference a midi file to chart note by note? Help or advice is appreciated.

Hi folks. Its been a few years since I posted so most won't remember me. Anyway, I received a report that one of the Yngwie Malmsteen links was down so I investigated. I had used Mediafire to share the customs I did between 2014 and 2016 and now that site is apparently overrun with adware download links. I want to move all of the CDLC files I had originally shared to some place that is NOT a wall of spam for programs nobody needs or wants. I want to avoid using dropbox because I only have a corporate account with them and have to keep that separate. So, any suggestions?

Hey guys, I wanted to learn the bassline to Remind Me by Patrice Rushen so I went ahead and learned how to make CDLC. I've uploaded v2 to the database here. I got the tab from DarthMart (YouTube link). While I'm not done yet, much of the work was done for me, so props to him for the awesome work. I have no idea what is going on with this CDLC. I have checked everything so many times and can't find any problems. The rhythm track is delayed by 1 bar for all finger/handshapes. It doesn't show anything for the first bar and then starting at bar 2 everything is off by one measure. The lead and bass tracks are fine, and this rhythm track was fine previously until I updated it with handshapes. Now the handshapes are correct but it displays 1 measure late. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong because I can't figure it out In this image it should be showing the handshape at fret 5 but its at fret 2 (the previous measure).
