As you may of heard there is a major security flaw on Cloudflare, a service CF uses. We are recommending everyone to change and update their passwords on all websites as a lot of them do end up using Cloudflare for protection. Also remember to enable 2FA. You can read more about this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloudbleed It's always recommend for everyone to change their passwords and use unique secure passwords for each of their websites. Hey all we've been long overdue for a community update. I wanted to let everyone know that our lead developer has been super busy but will be returning to the project again soon so we can move to public beta testing. Please remember we only have one developer rewriting ignition at the moment, and others are assisting him. Our current plan is to do a large scale upgrade of CustomsForge. We're aware the website has been slow. After doing an analysis we have found we are under a constant DDoS attack. We have adjusted some settings on CloudFlare and some additional backend fixes. I apologize for the slowness and we're working on making CustomsForge even better.

Our first phase is internal testing between the developers only, then the rest of the staff. Once it reaches a point we might try an invite system. I just wanted to let everyone know that BakerBauer and I are okay. We're devastated by the news as we live 15 minutes from the location, and that she was actually in this same club the night before. Thanks for the messages of people who are worried about our status but we're alive, just really upset about this situation.

A couple of days ago our moderator @Izzy found that there are currently around 6000 to 7000 cdlc with broken or expired download links. These are mostly hosted on Zippy share. He is currently in the progress of updating all the records with a broken link. So if you see one of your CDLC suddenly updated, it means your download link was broken. Also, we still found several people linking to folders of their CDLC. We will be contacting users about this and give you a week to rectify it. After that we'll be updating the links our self's. If you have any questions feel free to ask them.

I want to apologize to all of our users and thank you for all your patience during this time. Unfortunately due to the database issues of the current Ignition beta we had to revert back and undo the migration. The migration to AWS has been cancelled and we rolled back to right before the migration. All services should remain up and if anything we'll be working on optimizing our services. We will NOT be attempting any more migrations. The problem we ran into is that ignition uses large MySQL queries that are not suited for anything below a 6-core CPU. AWS only provides 4 and 8 cores. Upgrading to an 8 core (which would cost us $200+ more) just because of bad code …

We've caught a couple of users monetizing CDLC which is against the CustomsForge rules. If you are caught in an attempt to monetize CDLC in any way (ad.fly via external site, charging for CDLC, asking for donations, ect) or commissioning others to make cdlc for you, you will be subject to user moderation and other administrative actions that may include a permanent ban. This is the equivalent of cheating in a video game (and a VAC BAN). If you're caught selling CDLC on-site or off-site it's still grounds for a permanent ban if you're a CustomsForge user.
