Happy Holidays! I've migrated our website back to our old server as the new one was only temporary. There may be issues that come up but for right now our two websites editoronfire.com and cfmanager.com are down right now. I've attached the latest Editor On Fire files (Main file + HOTFIX) and CFSM Setup. These websites will be back up soon but I'll keep these files here if you require them. Unfortunately, I will start this post off with some bad news and that is our lead developer has parted ways with the Ignition4 project. We wish him the best in the future and I want to thank him for helping us get Ignition4 launched. I just wanted to clarify a few things with everyone: We never intended to launch Ignition4 until the main features were completed. This included a long beta testing period where we would fix any problems that we found. Hi all, I wanted to provide an update to let everyone know the status since our last August update. We are proud to announce that ignition4 has completed it's first alpha test. We found plenty of things to fix but this will not delay our next testing phases. We still plan on running another internal staff test to make sure everything is fixed and polished before we let anyone else check it out. While we are working on that, we are working with Invision Power (creator of our forums) on creating a patch to help us upgrade successfully from 3.4 -> 4.5. Hey all, I just wanted to touch base with everyone and give a proper update on what's been going on behind the scenes. At the moment COVID-19 has affected all of us. Due to work constraints and other issues, our main developers has not had the time to continue to develop Ignition4. This notice is to all charters that utilize Zippyshare to host their links for their customs on Ignition. Our administration and moderation team has decided that any chart that still utilizes Zippyshare as a hosting platform by September 1st, 2020 will be deleted. Zippyshare has not been allowed as an authorized hosting provider for over a year now and we are noticing an increase of reports from users in the European Union that are not able to download the charts because Zippyshare is blocked. Today we are adding a new rule since our community expands well onto Twitch & YouTube: The Community Rule If you're toxic in the community we may apply a community ban which is to protect our community members from toxic behavior. This can be anywhere from a Twitch stream to YouTube. Cat fishing, harassment, etc has a zero tolerance policy and will be permanently banned. All Community Bans will be discussed internally with our administration and moderation team before action is taken. If you are banned it is to protect our community members from extreme behavior.

The dll has been updated for this new update and we also took action to make sure it wouldn't break on any futur update made to the game but it's not a 100% guarantee. We have been testing the next IP Board upgrade for some time now and it is a very complicated process. Unfortunately we had to remove a few plugins during the upgrade otherwise it won't process correctly. One of these plugins we will no longer be continuing to use is the Social Groups feature http://customsforge.com/forum/89-groups-subforums/ All topics will need to be moved into a new topic in a different forum to continue. I'll be writing a more in-depth post about what happened and what we are doing in the future to fix the website. At the moment we are still working with our host to try to recover our backups as they are all failing. To recap the last few days: The website was having multiple issues all around including random errors, pages not loading, records not showing up, and other various issues. We first tried to optimize the website and run repairs on the website. Unfortunately by fixing these issues we caused new problems to occur such as records not loading at all. After that we tried to recover from multiple backups. The backups failed and one of the major problems is that it …

As you are fully aware by now CustomsForge was completely down for over 24 hours due to a catastrophic backup failure. We worked with our host (Linode) to resolve this but unfortunately, it took 10 hours to just restore the files. We have a lot of upgrades for CustomsForge and we will be working on adding more fail safes to prevent problems like this happening in the future. As we grow into a bigger website we must evolve, and to do so we must upgrade our forums and ignition.
