hey gys, i'm gonna get to the point here. when i load evry song i dl from the CDLC section it shows up on the song list, i tune up, and all i get is amps and a greyish wall background (and this is for all songs i dl'd from the CDLC section of this forum) and i've alrdy tried researching this a bit but either i'm bad at googling or this issue nevr hit google as much as the common results if it matters my machine specs is as follows: win 7 32bit dual core 2.13GHz 2GB RAM and also if it's important the version of the game according to the "tools" section is v160.230982 as a side note, the default songs and DLC work perfectly i apologize in advance if this is a common…

In line with the recent "Rescuing Customs" chat, I propose the following: Whenever someone uploads a custom, have them check a box that specifies whether they are willing to have others modify and re-upload their CDLC with either a link to the original post, or a blurb thanking the original author(s). You could set this to default on in an Account Setting, if people wish to do so for all of their custom work. I see this as an important piece to allow the distinction between people who are happy to open-source their work, and those that want their upload to be the final, definitive point. I'm working on a song that has 2 short parts in 3/4 time and the rest is 4/4.In the tab, for some reason, the 3/4 part is 6/8 and the measures are basically at half speed, being twice as long as the rest of the measures....making the rest of the notes a measure lateMy solution is to double the BPM with "adjust notes" and then set the BPM back without adjusting the notes and that fixes that small section, then to fix the rest of the song I have to half the BPM to get the rest of the song back at normal length.The problem with this is1) 2 or 3 times I've lost a quarter of my work because when it temporarily extends past where the song ends, the part of the chart that went o…

I've been trying to add lyrics to the song in EoF. However, I am using UltraStar Creator. I am not that great with timing the 'clicks' for syllables. Also, when I add the file to the song, the blue bar's get kinda messed up, and I don't have any idea how to fix 'em. What do you guys use to match the lyrics?

hi, since yesterday morning I only when I go to the search page I only see the header, no content. I've tried compatibility settings, resetting ie11 to default values, changed cookie settings, nothing makes it work unless I use chrome. any ideas what I may have done wrong?

Hello, I'm totally new to this forum and to Rocksmith. I bought the first game and I understood that I can only use .dat files to play with the cdlc. So far I was not able to find a signle file in .dat so I asked google how to convert a .psarc to a .dat but my search didn't give me an answer. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Am on a Mac playing along via Steam, successfully using both CDLC from others and CDLC that I've created myself. Am finding that new CDLC is a bit slow to appear in the list of songs, or that songs I've played in the preceding days is missing, despite multiple RS and Steam restarts...eventually the missing CDLC seems to return. Does anyone have a handle on what/how Steam is doing when determining which content is available/new? I decided to "play offline" a few days ago when I was testing phrases/sections and found that being offline meant that nothing new was appearing in the list of songs displayed. Hi...so I transcribed "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" on guitar...but there's a sweet bass line, which I want to include. The problem is...that there aren't any good tabs. I tried to tab it myself using my electric guitar, but then some weird notes came in (Opened D note on fattest string, but then another sound came in, which also sounded like an opened D note). The one thing I know for sure - the tuning is Drop D. Can you help me?

Please stop marking pinch harmonics as natural harmonics Some natural harmonics on certain strings wont register you playing the note if you mark them as the wrong kind of harmonic.. I am well aware that of course there are harmonics on more then the 5,7 and 12 fret (see some rush official DLC).. but you can clearly tell the tone difference between a natural and a pinch.. not to mention pinch harmonics can have any sort of techniques added to them that natural's simply can't do. I can't easily count the number of songs ive played with harmonics being mislabeled. I know EoF imports most techniques but harmonics and pinch harmonics it seems to get mixed up. So please…

First off, greate job with the site and all the hard work with creating awesome cdlc, really digging it! I just had a thought that since many cdlcs are work in progress, maybe it would be possible to add in a feature on the site where one can add songs to a favorites/track/update list and then have notifications when any updates are made? I'd assume that would require a "version tagg" to the posts, but that does not seem impossible to me. Any thoughts on this?

Songs for electric guitar are great but i think sometimes i like to play a song for acoustic guitar. I think its a good for practice rhythm and in the same time to learn a chords. None of the GPro files I've downloaded from this site work in Guitar Pro -- anyone know how to make them work? It seems like they add something to the code -- EOF apparently knows how to strip it away. But I'd like to be able to open them in Guitar Pro 5 first. Some of the files only seem to be available through WebTabPlayer. I also tried to translate a couple of gpx files using their converter function, same problem.

What happened to the thanks button ? It was a great way to keep track of the customs I leached. Now I'm confused. :-|

is there a way to re-edit a CDLC or would you have to start from fresh? There are a couple of songs that I have learned alternate fingering for but then when I am playing them with the different fingering it is screwing me up! I know in the long run if I learn both of the fingering patterns it would make me a better player but it is frusterating as hell right now. I have read the threads on creating a CDLC however once it is packaged all up in the parsc file I can't figure out a way to unpackage them. Another advantage to being able to unpackage them is for a difficult riff I could actually see all the notes and figure them out at slow speeds and my own pace befor…

I enjoy using Guitar Pro 6 - Just use Export to .GP5 File :) Also you can save all your custom tuning like, BASS: BEAD = B0 E1 A1 D2 but the Low B doesn't work in-game, so the lowest i'm happy to use CEAD = C1 E1 A1 D2 (3/4 same but works perfectly in-game)... Transposing Bass for eg to a new track it's easy to apply the tuning once saved then paste the copy of the notes in and see what is missing if anything but as an example Korn - Ball Tongue loses 300+ low A notes, no way to play them in-game.

I just downloaded AC/DC 'You Shook Me All Night Long' and its App ID is the 248750-Smashing Pumpkins 'Cherub Rock'. I purchased other songs instead. The App ID for the songs I recently purchased are however not available in the pull down tab of Custom Toolkit 2.5.0.0-25199c63 beta. The songs I purchased are by KISS-'Detroit Rock City', I Was Made for Loving You', and 'Heaven's on Fire'. What happens if I do not update to correct App ID?

Last night i read something interessting, it turns out that dimebag always tuned his guitar down a quarter step. So if any of you guys are making CDLC's with songs from Cowboys from hell thats a little thing to remember
