Issues

First of all, I cannot load the updated beta version because I get an error that says that it is required to be elevated. I was able to load the release version, but I getting a host of errors with the setlist manager. I even lost about 500 songs, but fortunately I had backed up first. I think this is potentially a fantastic product... I was hoping that there may be some fixes out there. Can you assist?? Thanks! Michelle

Hi all, Had some trouble repairing a CDLC, when I tried to repair it I got "Maximum playable arrangement limit exceeded." I have redownloaded the CDLC to make sure I've the latest version and I know I now have to go and repair it with the max 5 settings but I haven't used this part of the repair tool before so I'm not sure what options to select to get the result I want. Any tips on using this function?

I'm trying to make a list of my songs with a Tuning column. I'm not sure, but maybe I'm getting the tuning for bass instead of guitar? As an example Coldplay's Viva la vida shows up in my list as an Eb song, which is correct for bass, but guitar is in E standard. I'm a small streamer and the idea of a song list with tuning seems very convenient. Thanks

So I did take my courage to try the latest PC beta version 1.4.4.9 because I have no time to spend helping (anymore) as a beta tester. And I ran into some funny issues and three serious issues in the Song Manager List. Funny Issues are that DDMax and file-size columns now show with two units after decimal point. In the stable version, they have none, and none in the Arrangements List BPM column now shows either none, one, two, and even three digits after decimal point. Hi all, first thanks so much for this awesome tool. Here is my status: MAC platform OS 10.11.6 (el capitan) Steam RS Remastered A few months ago none of the songs would start, no charts came up So I removed all DLC put back in just cherub rock, and that works I got the CSFM tool and assumed I needed to repair files. I have about 400 CDLC files I made a backup of the DLC folder and then hit repair. But almost all my songs (about 10 where repaired) where moved to corrupt DLC... is this expected? After autoupdating 1.4.3.0, every restart, whether launching from the installer completion page, or from the desktop shortcut, etc, the startup check will run the 1.4.3.0 installer yet again. Refusing would end up in CFSM quitting and the cycle begun again. After going into the appSettings config file and setting the EnableAutoUpdate to false CFSM 1.4.3.0 will run. Perhaps something thinks it's an old version?

Hi, I am so pleased with the CFSM tool and it's updates than now fix tones issues that last year the CFSM classified as corrupt and no longer do! Near the end of Remastering my 3000+ CDLC suddenly CFSM (latest beta version) died on my PC. It seems to kill the batch remastering process when it encountered dreddfoxx's Alice Cooper - Halo of flies . Does the Low Bass Tuning Fix actually work, or what am I doing wrong? I've repaired the file and clicked the Fix Low Bass Tuning and hit save on a couple of files. None of them work any better after. Specifically, I've tried Poem by Taproot multiple different ways, still doesn't read the low A on my 5 string.

User created multipacks (done for multitracks or rarely collections) are not shown in the CFSM. Example: fripponomics fonk the blues: I know making that files ready to repair might be on another piece of paper but at least they should show up in search.

Repair Status should be made available in Duplicate Tab as optional column (it is not) - would make deleting the right ones after manual repair a lot easier. Thx!

When remasterfixing using the .org version there is a major bug: Instead of fixing only the selected song(s) it starts from top (ACDC ind my case) and starts to destroy all my precious stats ;) I always (try to) use latest beta, this is happening for a long time in different version. Thx for that massive wonderful project.

Thx for the .org .max and .cor management!!!!!! One major bug here: http://up.picr.de/31094781lk.jpg .org files should never be saved in disabled state I dunno if that still happens but my org library has a huge amount of doubled originals, maybe due to reinstalls of the cfsm or whatever, can be solved if .org, wheter of dis- or enabled files are always saved as enabled.

Everything's been working fine up until a few weeks ago, now whenever I repair songs, they don't show up on my song list! I'm running the latest version, what's going on?

The pitch shifter mod for drop tunnings is not working as intended on the latest beta release, for example, when trying to apply it to a song on Drop C, it over-corrects and uses a whole step over what would be a Drop D equivalent. In the tone editor, it's represented with the multipitch pre pedal, as of now for the Drop C example it applies a -4,00 correction, however I'm pretty sure the correct tone would be if it used -2,00. The same seems to happen for Drop C#, instead of using the -3,00 that it's applying, wouldn't the right tone be achieved by using -1,00?. Haven't tested with other tunings, but you may want to take a look at them.

Hi, I'm trying to installed the CF song manager and when I try to I get a notification "Download failed: File not Found (404) Check your connection and click `Retry` to try downloading the files again, or click `Cancel` to terminate setup." No matter how any retries, It won't budge past about 25 - 30% installed. Any suggestions as it doesn't actually tell me what it's 404'd. TIA

I had CFSM a few weeks ago and was trying to reinstall but the website is missing now and I can't find any alternative download links anywhere what happened?

I currently have my Steam/Rocksmith/cdlc/Song Manager on an external hard drive. If I decide I want to move this to a new computer, how do I make sure all the songs and song info is transferred over? because I'm noticing Saved File: songsInfo.xml is on my computer hard drive right now under c drive. Every time I close the song manager, it saves a few files. What does backing up user profiles do? How often do I have to back it up? The prfldb file is in my external hard drive/userdata folder

Hi, I installed BETA 1.3.2.5. since the last 2-3 BETA releases, I keep getting this error. Exception(DirectoryNotFoundException) cfsm\archives cfsm\backups cfsm\duplicates cfsm\remastered I create the folders, program opened. Close it, try to open, same problem. Now I also have the problem Exception(UnauthorizedAccessException): Access to the path 'C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\CFSM\SongPacks\original\cache.psarc.org' is denied with .org files in my user directory. This happened with this latest BETA.

Hello. I'm having a bit of a problem with the song manager. Whenever I apply the 100% bug fix to a CDLC, it becomes much quieter, no longer level with the guitar/bass tone. I just tried with v1.3.1.9, but it is also present in v1.2.7.9 beta.

I try to download latest release version 1.4.0.0 but the link leads to 1.3.3.5?! Now trying to install it, it keeps running the installer. (wasnt this fixed some versions ago?) and then it also deleted my desktop shortcut. Also this version shuts down when I try to get song info, on any song.
