Just thought I'd stop by to give you all an update on my condition. I'll be back soon! As soon as RS doesn't make me so dizzy when I play it... Great work everyone. Everyone is getting better and I see @@Smile has made MC. Awesome job man!

Unfortunately, I may not be able to make an attempt this week either. I was in a near fatal car accident last Tuesday morning and now I'm stuck in a neck brace for the next two weeks. I was fortunate that I had my seatbelt on or the officer said I would have died. Anyway enough about that. I hope I'll be able to get well enough to play this week. The song list looks amazing. Good luck everyone.

I'm not 100% sure if I'll have time to participate this week. I have a lot of work to do all week :(

@@Smile I think you can dude, if possible record your playthrough and look for your mistakes. That's what I did.

@ Thanks for the update! I didn't realize someone had a higher score than me :P Guess I'm back to playing then. Edit: This should put me at the top, I'm kind of sad that I didn't get it recorded... I realized with recording that I wasn't hitting the chords all the way through, which I think my higher score reflects.

I got you Matzor. I honestly think I shouldn't have gotten any strikes but the game said otherwise... I'll keep attempting until I get at least gold. Edit: A little better but, I think I still should have gotten gold. I missed like 2 notes in one section and it failed me, they weren't even chords... I might upload the playthrough. I think this will be my final score unless someone gets higher.

@@Smile Nice score. It seems we surpass each other often :p Although I think my streak keeps me ahead. I'll have to do better before the end of the week.

i am playing this song with a maison strat that i bought in 91 for about 90$ if i still remember correctly. (but has dimarzios since mid nineties...) Check the intonation and you will be alright with a squier with 010-42 or higher My Epiphone Les Paul with 09 is impossible to play in Eb in the higher frets Yeah, my Squier has 09's on it which I just put on so I'm not really interested in changing that. My MH-50 has 010's but, it looks like I'll be forced to fix it and try to find something temporary to keep the battery from continuously falling out.

@Mr Pi It's more of the string skipping and the solo's that are keeping me down. I'm kind of being forced to use my garbage guitar for this song too since my MH-50 needs to be re-soldered again... I don't have a back right now where the battery cavity is and it just falls out sometimes. Last time it fell out it yanked the wire off... I might fix that tonight I think my MH-50 would give me a better chance to do a little better on this song. My squire can't seem to register or sustain any notes past the 15th fret.

Joke of the week score :p Actually I feel I can do way better than that and that was my very first attempt. I really wanted to challenge myself this week especially since Slash was one of my inspirations. I think I'll continue to attempt this song tomorrow. I'd like to atleast get 80% and I think I can do it.

@@MaZtoR You can definitely do Kashmir with scores like that. I can't even get a gold on score attack with that song :( It's like I miss one chord and I get a strike... Don't let Kashmir intimidate you it's not that hard I don't think. It was definitely intimidating at first though for someone that's in the beginner's class.
