No idea what caused the filename change or why it didn't happen to all of them, but now I have to figure out a way to individually rename almost 1,500 files 🙃

Now, I regret not knowing more about Windows; on Mac, that sort of file rename is fairly trivial to do. I would expect there’s some way to do this quickly. Perhaps there’s a command line rename utility you can use?

I would recommend backing up what you have somewhere before you go to surgery in case you make a goof….

But look into multi file rename. It has to be possible somehow and would save you loads of time.

I personally do not remember how to do it. I do believe it can be done, someone with programming experience could do it with a .bat file. I believe command line uses a ren command.

 

But I really advise making a copy of all the .psarc charts and move them to a separate folder, one mistake and all the 1700 songs will have the same song title.

Hey folks... I have a question (also posting in a min in the reg discussion group). 

Have any of you used the Neural DSP Quad Cortex with Rocksmith? I just bought one to replace my Focusrite (that failed me) and it works great (love those plugins and AMP captures) but it doesnt work in Rocksmith Plus (no sound output at all). I am going to reinstall my Rocksmith 2014 Remastered version and see if the sound works if I use the real tone cable patch? I do get sound out of it just fine (not sure why it works and plus doesn't?)  But I have not put the patch in yet... 

 

Do any of you have a QC? and what is the best latest patch link and info?


EDIT**** I was able to get the QC to work with the latest patch. Need to tweak but it plays fine. Please let me know if someone is able to get Rocksmith Plus to work... I may need to cancel my sub.

I do not. I have a Steinberg UR22 mk II. Works with most things, I don’t know about RS+, I gave up on that; when I did use it, I ran it through a PS5 so no help there either, sorry. Also a Mac user mostly.

As Far As I am Aware of, there is no mass download to recover all of your collection. It would overload the server to do so.

Hello, I need help. I installed the patchon my pc . I see my songs. cdlc  I tune my guitar and then nothing happens.

It would be helpful to be a bit more descriptive with the details. Presumably you launch the software, then ….

(I’m not trying to be smart. It’s just hard to assess exactly where you are in the flow, what you see or don’t, etc., which makes it really tough to diagnose.)

Usually means that you have a mismatched version of the game with mismatched version of the enabler. Assuming that you just recently downloaded both, and this is happening is beyond what I can help with. If you did just download both the game and the patch recently, and the cdlc is not working, you should probably head to the Discord server and seek help there.

You were / are using the Beta JustinCase version, and would need to use the .dll for that version. Others have stated that there is no real reason to use that version, as the current is now and has been stable.

Hello, i am completly new to this, actually tried Rocksmith for the first time today and omg this are going to help me so much!

But, my question, i have a jailbreaked ps3 with RS installed, i want to try cdlc, the thing is i have only a mac, and it seems that its impossible to download song directly for Ps3, i have to convert them? I cant seem to find any program that works to install on my mac that can convert the songs to ps3. I will forever in dept if someone can help me with this 😃

It’s been years since anyone has mentioned PS3 so I’ve forgotten what is and isn’t possible with that (someone else may know), but, in general, anything along the lines of piracy (since you mention jailbreaking) is something this community steers away from. So if that’s an essential feature of what you need, you are not likely to get any help with it. I would avoid bringing that up, if I were you.

On the other hand, if you have a Mac and you can somehow get the Steam version of RS, you would be able to use CDLC. Now, I know a while back there was some re-release of RS which, if I recally correctly, is a little more limited than the original… and I can’t remember whether that’s at all useful for CDLC, unfortunately. I never kept track of that because I’ve had RS for many years 😞

I did not and refrained from answering earlier as I have not done a PS3, I know very very little about it other than you needed a modded / jailbroke console, and I have zero experience. I have to go by outdated threads, Google, and memory. The above thread (that) I linked said that you did not need an original PS3 DLC to use cdlc, however I recall someone else stating that you did.

It has been asked and brought up a couple of times in the past, but it really is a limited number in the community that uses a PS3.

If you have a legitimately obtained legal copy of Rocksmith; In order to work on PS3, I do believe that they do need to be converted to PS3 version of the file (ps3.psarc.edat) [using a utility like RS Toolkit]. However, in order to use CDLC on a Mac, the same thing needs to be done using the Mac conversion utility as most uploads are Windows versions.

I thought that RS was removed from the PlayStation store, and in that you would run into problems of what Nick was referring to in regard to piracy. [I assume that ] There are still a couple disks out there, so I am not delving further into it or accusing anyone.

As @ Nick Beat was saying, the Play and Learn version is available in the Steam store, and it probably will go on sale for the Fall / Autumn sale, and will be easier than converting to PS3 format or using an FTP client, however you do you.
