Same.  Several browsers etc.

Well this changes it from a single isolated person.

I have sent a message to the Moderators, who in turn will contact admin as I do not know which one to message.

Have patience in the mean time.

It's an issue we are aware of. If I remember correctly the issue can be mitigated by manually going to the ignition page first and navigating to the download from there instead of clicking on the link.

I'll own you one day. 💜 If you would like to support me by donating, I always appreciate the help.

Courtesy note to Mac users!!

I ran Steam the other day after quite some time away from RS only to find that RS would no longer run. Checking out the mac-OS channel on our Discord confirms that as of macOS 15.4, RS will no longer run at all, and it is not likely that we can do anything about it. As things stand, 15.3.2 is the last working version of the OS as far as RS 2014 is concerned.

Be advised!

I am confused by your post.

I assume that you are trying to run the enabler not a cdlc.

If this is the case, Rocksmith is usually installed in the directory;

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014

If you are not using a standard installation (i.e. another drive), then you will have to find where it is that you have it installed. It maybe easier to copy the enabler to the Rocksmith 2014 folder and run it from that location to point it to it. Others have experienced this situation.

I have trouble getting CDLC-enabler to work on Pop! _OS 22.04 at LTS linux. I mean that it doesn’t find where rs are installed. I've tried to put that enabler in the same folder where rs is located and run it on Protontrics, but every time comes the same text "CDLC enabler cant find rocksmith...". I also tried to move that installation folder to another location, but still didn't find it. Any thoughts?

OK....I think i get it working...So... Because that RS2014-CDLC-installer wont find that Steam folder,I go to Steam settings->Storage and there Add drive. Then Select Desktop and press Select button. Then I move Rocksmith folder on desktop and run cdlc installer. It still dont find it but now I can find it on desktop and after that i get that message that cdlc should be enabled. i have not tested it yet,but point is that you add some folder or desktop on Steam settings as drive.

Now i have to test it, and hopefully it works. Final barrier that keeps me on Windows world😅

Yes! It is working now...Even realtone cable works....but overall sound quality is quite bad so if anyone knows how to setup sound settings on linux for RS 2014 or can point where can  I find that information I`ll be pleased  🙏

I am a complete noob, so I have a noob question.  How can I download a file on my pc and then insert it in a location on my XBox 360?  My computer sees the 360 on the network, but that's it.  I cannot access it.

I've got the XBOX360 version...anyone know how to get CDLC on to that?

Amazing explanation, thanks a lot!

Just a question, please...does the DLC comes with a pack of songs? My dlc folder have 146 files and I just see a few songs inside the game. I've tested to download new songs through the Ingnition 4 search and it workied, but I would like to install a bunch of songs in a single time. It's possible?

Thank you!

Steam Store DLC has packs that come in 3, 4, 5 charts in it depending on the pack.

As far as Ignition CDLC downloads, no.

Mass Downloads are not feasible or possible for several reasons, nor permitted per the guidelines; "No collections or torrents of CDLC. Folders to multiple CDLC (ex: Google Drive) are not tolerated here".

I'm trying to download the CDLC installer, but Windows is saying virus detected. Any way to bypass it?

Thanks in advance!

Just here to say 'thank you' for the amazing work you do!  I'm moving away from Windows atm and am using openSuSE Leap 15.6 as OS. Thanks to the CDLC Enabler I have my beloved RS2014 with all custom songs up and running. Amazing! 😁 Thank you so much!

I have a collection of nearly 2,000 CDLC songs that I copied over to a new PC, but for some reason I haven't been able to figure out yet, CSFM and Rocksmith only show 302 of them. As far as I can tell all the .psarc files are where they should be, I've run the CDLC patcher/enabler, D3DX9_42.dll is in the right folder, etc. I never had an issue with this on my old computer, it's just on my new PC that they aren't showing up. I'm expecting that I just overlooked something dumb, but I'm damn frustrated at this point. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated

It seems unlikely if they were working before, but the obvious guess, if CFSM and RS are showing the same songs, would seem to be IDs not set to match a purchased CDLC. That’s very easily tested/rectified by running them through a tool we have for that, the name escapes me just now….

CFSM is supposed to convert appIDs in bulk, but that presents a problem if the charts are not appearing in CFSM.

It can be done individually with RS Toolkit or DLC Builder.

They still should show in CF Song Manager though. Having Cherub Rock or another DLC should not affect that / the charts being able to be seen by CFSM.

I personally would start out with a smaller sample size and figure it out on a smaller scale than 2000 songs. Isolate one or 2 songs that are not working, see what the appID is with DLC Builder. If 302 songs are working, compare the appID to one of the 302 that is working.

I mean, 302 of them are working? actually work in game? so they must be in the DLC folder, or a sub-folder (easier to manage) within the DLC folder in the Rocksmith 2014 folder?

Yeah, that's the really crazy part. All 1,797 songs are in the DLC folder, but only 302 of them show up and work in game.

Would be frustrating. It is difficult to diagnose without being able to see and having to think whatelse it could be. Like corrupted titles, Like Nick said, odd if they worked before. Again, I would take a look at an individual song or 2 first and try and see if you can see from one, not look at 1,800 songs. I would remove the rest to a folder on the desktop and concentrate on one or 2 that isn't working first.

@ Sniper Reload3d  T’es, I realize CFSM is supposed to be able to donit, but clearly it’s not seeing them (suggests maybe they aren’t in the right place? I don’t know).

I was referring to a different tool, which is independent. You just drag the lot onto it and it converts and moves them to the folder, all in one.

Let me see whether I can find out. Sorry my memory is so bad….

Hey guys, I found it, but it won’t do much good, it’s a Mac utility 😞

https://github.com/glebb/rocksmithconvert

Make absolutely sure they are all in the right place. Check the files carefully. On Mac, I’d say check the permissions. If neither tool is seeing them, since they are independent tools, it rather suggests a problem outside either of them….

I think I figured it out and it's kinda embarrassing. It looks like the overwhelming majority of CDLC files I transferred over have filenames ending in "_p.org.psarc" rather than the usual "_p.psarc". I removed the ".org" part from a few and it looks like CFSM is detecting those now.
