INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

 

• PC:
  • DOWNLOAD our tool to install the fix
  • Copy file: "_p.psarc" to "dlc";

• Mac:
  • Follow the instruction over there : https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/33889-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/
  • Copy file: "_m.psarc" to "~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Rocksmith2014/dlc/", 
    you might need to use "Command-Shift-G" to go inside ~/Library since it's hidden by default in the finder
     
• XBox 360: Place files: "_xbox" to "Content>0000000000000000>555308C0>00000002";
   
• PS3: Install files: "_ps3.psarc.edat" to "/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS31182/USRDIR/DLC",
  if the folder DLC does not exist, just create it.

Note: If you are intending on using Custom DLCs on a PS3 or XBox, you MUST jailbreak your console first! 
Hacking or jailbreaking a console is beyond the scope of what we are doing here, and if you are not comfortable with doing it, you may want to simply buy the PC version of the game.

Allrighty guys. Sorry to disturb you, but i kinda seem to fuck anything up I don't know exactly.

 

So: I have bought RS2014 and Cherub Song Dlc - so far so good.

I've downloaded 2 custom DLCs (in this case "Fever" and "The Last Fight" from Bullet for my Valentine)

I've switched the App-IDs to cherub song with the Tool.

 

Now I want to start playing one of these and my game keeps freezing (seeing Amps, can hear the sound of the s*** i play, but the songs won't load).

 

I've tried it with the .dll provided in the tutorial, and with the Rocksmith2014_patcher as well, but both solutions have the effect, that no CDLCs are even shown in the menu anymore. I am quite confused now :(. Would be nice if you could provide some tips!

It seems I've got the problem other people have of not getting past tuning. I've already downloaded the .dll file and downloaded the alternative patcher, but it still won't work. Anyone able to help?

I believe cdlc are not working anymore because of the update today. Can anyone else confirm?

@@Tmlt Yes, it's confirmed and it's being investigated, but it will take some time to fix (i have no idea how much exactly).

I did the stuff in that guide, still can't get past the tuning section.

The new update broke CDLC.   They have a fix for the PC side.....I haven't seen one for MAC yet, Im patiently waiting

@@lelzer note that i've updated the link to point toward the dll for the remaster update, IT WILL NOT WORK with Rocksmith 2014 and if you got the dll before i changed it, well it won't work with the remaster, but the instruction are still exactly the same.

Will it work with 2014's new patch?

@@lelzer yeah it's made for RS2014 REMASTER, that's why i say it won't work with RS2014.

someone managed to install and play on ps3 CDLC, created folders by multiman and still did not work.

i am using Rs 2014 remaster on a mac.

My problem is that i can see the custom songs and can start, but after i set my guitar....nothing.

Rsinjector wont work.

I have read through most of the posts on this thread and none of them have the same problem i do.

 

Whenever I try to download, the .dll file gets deleted by Norton

So I tried to get the Rocksmith2014patcher.exe and it DOWNLOADED AND DIDN'T GET DELETED! But I launch the game, see the CDLC that I installed, I tune and then I am left with a screen with just the amps on it, no notes. I am also able to strum and make noise but nothing happens. 

 

Is it something to do with the fact that Rocksmith2014 is now remastered? Do i HAVE to get the new .dll file? I would rather not...

 

What should I do?

Where can I find Smashing Punkins Cherub Rock in Rocksmith 2014 Edition remastered? I bougt all Smashing Punkins songs that I could find but no Chrerub Rock.  There is no cherubrock_p.psarc in my DLC folder. Can I instead use the tool for changeing ID?

I Bought Cherub Rock in your link. But i´ts "Not Installed" in Steam. It´s not in my DLC-folder. If i searh it in Rocksmith I can see it buts it´s a padlock icon and I can´t play it. Must I have done som achievements before to have it unlocked? Can I install custom dlc´s anyway?
