I upgraded my computer to Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit, and now I can't launch Rocksmith 2014 ... I start the game 2 seconds after it gives Rocksmith 2014.exe stopped working and I can't do anything.

Please help :(

Thanks, that worked, but now when I load my profile it gets stuck on the screen after the profile load.

And if I create a new profile, it works until I have to choose profile again. Oh and the screen hangs up on starting customs too

Nah, always have to start it again. Like I solved that part to launch the game, but it just always gets stuck on the starting screen when the amp should "drop".

I'm also running Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit. I have no issues what so ever with Rocksmith 2014.

Might be something else that is causing the issue. What .dll file are you using?

My problem turned out to be that the game crashed if the realtone cable was plugged in on launch. Totally weird but easy enough to work around...
