on my windows pc, for some reason even though i have the full zip file for eof i can't actually get the program to start up, its just a bunch of files in my computer. if anyone knows what to do that would be very helpful! thanks, sorry for the silly question

There should be an EOF.exe file you can run.
If it's not in the folder, it may be that you've downloaded just the hotfix and not the entire set of program files.

At this moment, the Windows build is just the latest release candidate so it's standalone with no hotfix. Make sure you extract all the files, it won't run correctly while it's still zipped.
