Help Picking an Effects Processor

Hello,

I'm looking at getting an effects processor and want to see if anyone can confirm compatibility with Rocksmith 2014 for PC.

Specifically, I'm hoping to be able to,
1. Digitally turn my guitar into a bass
2. Digitally switch tunings without having to actually retune.
The more convincingly the box can do this, the better.

I'm currently looking at the HX Stomp by Line 6 and the GX-10 by BOSS, but am open to other suggestions.
Can anyone verify if either of these will work?
