Yep. Love those lower tunings. I remember getting my guitar some lower strings (don't remember which ones exactly, tho). Couldn't drop to Slipknot level, but could play Before I Forget and Duality in Drop C. I think the songs become more of a banger in a higher tuning.

Well, this is my take so far on the intermediate level song. The lowest skill song I could play in this week championship. And I guess it's the first time I'm participating, so good luck everyone!

Didn't shoot for the highest score because the song is a bit hard for me. But still had the courage and patience to sit through all the repeat practices. So far managed to master the intro, which is pretty insane.

Gonna try this beast some other time during the week. I always love to try new songs and mess around with them, but seeing how much intermediate beats me, I think I'm gonna stick around in this level until I'm confident enough to go against bros from the higher difficulties.

Regardless of what your level is and what Rocksmith Dad says about your score, it's still mighty impressive; the intro isn't easy. Good job on it so far 😄

Don't be scared to give the other songs a go either, sometimes you might surprise yourself. (sometimes the host gets the difficulty classes wrong too and overrate/ underrate the songs like I seemingly have done 🤣)

Hopefully it doesn't discourage you to continue to participate in future weeks either; it's always nice to see new faces join.

Forgot to play rhythm...

I am still unsure which of these songs are harder, as i have spent way more time on Touch and Go.
And getting close to beating my score from the old chart on my updated chart 😮

Would say a 3 for this though

This was pretty fun difficult timing to start but once you get the rhythm It Is nice

Defiantly on the limits of Intermediate.

Yea this is fast Wow, all great Bass songs this week I will be adding to my list of play again

Again great to play If I want to get to Masterclass really got to start trying the songs every week

compared to some others I have played I would knock .5 off this one

@Daz40 @ALSRC some very nice scores there from you both 😄Glad you enjoy the picks; should be very proud of the scores you've gotten this far.

Like mentioned before, difficulties may be off - maybe even more so for bass as the stuff I usually casually play are some long 10+ minute prog stuff which inherently are around the MC class level 🤣

Imgur got blocked in the UK middle of last year, so imgur links in a few different places on CF got axed.
Easy enough just upload the image directly to the thread though without the need of hosting it on sites like Imgur which is handy :)

Big thanks to @Emmy-Dell for hosting this week. Glad to have you here, and huge respect for all the CDLC contributions. I’m with the others — between the song picks and the scores, it’s pretty clear you can rip.

The difficulty ratings might be a little generous this week, so all our scores won't be in the feel good 90's, high score still takes it at the end of the day. Hosting is tougher than it looks — you’re picking songs you love and want to share, and sometimes those land a little closer to your wheelhouse than everyone else’s. I’ll find out how easy it is to talk next week when it’s my turn to host.

It's just fun to be part of a group of people from all over the globe and getting exposed to new songs and challenges weekly.

This one’s my favorite so far. The rhythm part is right on the edge of what I can hang with, and the solo is still telling me to come back later. Great cover, super fun chart.

More to come, just have to detune for beginner (Actually, call up my pitch shift bank on the HX named respectfully after @cacahuate51 "Caca51 Hosts"). Then we will see if I can pull the advanced one into the 80% so I can talk a little smack in future weeks.

100% a learning curve for me and I now know to be ranking things higher than I initially think for future submissions.
I do find it very difficult to actually gauge songs and what bracket they fall in 🤕 (the downside of being into prog)

I got superrrrrr into Hawkwind last month (still can't stop playing their live album Space Ritual) so I was extremely happy to see this song on here, already played it before. Had to play extremely hard on this it's way too fun for me.

I can't handle this.
