THIS WEEK - TV THEMES
I saw a couple of tv themes suggested in the spreadsheet so this week i decided to do a week dedicated to tv themes/songs in shows

It was hard to choose which ones as there are many good shows with great themes. These were imo the better ones made and fairly short so i felt like it was ok to bundle a lot in each category (since some last like 30 seconds) .

I personally have only watched half of the tv shows,
The ones I've watched:

1 Merv Griffin - Think! (Main Theme From Jeopardy!)
I believe its one of the most popular game/ trivia shows out on tv, Its been goin for over 60ish years. heres a ytb video of all the iterations of the song throughout the years, thought it was kinda neat to hear.

2 Jason Paige - Pokémon Theme
A monster-collecting RPG series that was later turned into a show. There are still apps of pokemon till this day and people sell/collect the trading cards for crazy sums of money. The theme will always be remembered for me aswell as many of the gameboy themes.

3 Mike Post - Law & Order Theme
Crime (mostly sexual) -> investigate ->court. One of the few tv shows i liked as a kid that were "made for adults". Tbh not sure if letting your 7 year old kid watch it is the best idea... but i enjoyed it along with Charmed (one of my favorite intros). Its theme was also used for several memes a long time ago. Theres over 530 episodes of law and order!

4 “”The Simpsons”” Main Title Theme

The show was not for me, much prefered southpark (wanted to add some this week) or other tv shows, like the regular show, gumballs adventure, fairly oddparents, jimmy neutron, spongebob rick and morty etc. But I know its a loved franchise so i added it as it was pavs suggestion

Ive never watched anime but it seems like they always have good music, might just look up random anime playlists for music. This song looks like it might just be from a scene rather than a theme? but I really enjoyed it/ probably my favorite of the week, and glad emmy/dell recomended it cause it will be a song ill keep to listen to.

  Wouldve loved to played malcom in the middle since they are rebooting the show or drake and josh but i felt the cdlcs could improve and theres so many shows outside of cartoons i havent mentioned but i could be here for days lol.

Will do as soon as I get home! Yea I didn't see the power rangers theme while testing (it might be on ignition tho). when adding the songs to Spotify I did notice Ron Wasserman the guy who did xmen song was also the creator of power rangers theme and was also like ah that woulda been fun

all beginner songs are pretty easy IMO i think the rating should be decreased by either half point or one for the shorter songs since the longer the song the harder it is to perfect because u gotta be consistent in ur playing but with short songs its a bit easier :) ill see what i can do about the other songs with bends in them if i can get it fixed ill post the results or ill just play em without scoring myself cause they are fun to play!

I've given TMNT a little tweak if you wanted to grab v1.1.
If you still having issues after that, I'm not sure what else I can physically do with the chart other than marking all the bends with ignore status - which I don't really want to do.
Maybe try bending just a fraction earlier than you expect? I know some people also swap some bends to be played as slides instead.
100% is definitely attainable; Elemenohpenc uploaded a 100% FC playthrough for the lead shortly after I originally uploaded it.

As for the capo, R.I.P. Time to make a makeshift capo by laying a pencil across the fret and then wrapping a hair tie or elastic band around the back to hold it in place? 😆

Ow it's not the chart that's the problem it's rocksmith remastered itself. Like every song with bends behaves like this. I can't get any bends to register ever. Sometimes only long bends get registered but that's also rare. Everything else from chugs to natural harmonics works fine. But thanks for going the extra way in trying to help me I'll check it out! And as for the Capo... I guess i can try it??? 😀

ok so when i saw the songs i was really excited :D i saw pokemon and x men and i was like LETS GOO!!! but i never understood why simpsons or family guy or law and order themes were so high so i started playing was having fun than i got to all the chords or octaves or double stops whatever u wanna call em and i swear to god my excitement went to zero real fast haha but fun week nonetheless! here are more scores everything is final ill try to do the law and order lead i keep messing up the mid portion and will try to get a bit higher on TMNT lead @Emmy-Dell ur update on the chart really helped me out!! thanks! i think i can break 98 on that now :D everything else is the final score.

I had tested mcgyver cdlc by @Boltimoore and was about to choose it this week but i do think the end of lead went a bit off? still fun cdlc to play and was happy to see it on the site. Alf was almost a pick aswell but felt like bass already had alot of picks this week, hameron also mentioned it on discord :P
