Well first time I tried this song I thought "a little practice with picking and OK'. But then I open RR and start to repeat learn it from low speed to high... I thought "i will never step over 90%". The picking part is easy actually. But the speed limit of my fingers (and mostly my brain) was rejecting it. And a lot of restarts later I got this:

Of course, many attempts have failed on this part. And there were a lot of restarts. But once I was able to get an attempt without total failures.

A little late but first scores for this week!! 🤩🤩

Well this one is fast for me for sure. I fail all the chords parts because I can't place my finger as fast as required on the 5th string 2nd fret. And this short "solo" part...

Lead improvement

Did better than i expected this week, picked the one day I felt really sick to play this week. Fun choices for songs





Happy i didn't get an X on this one, felt like i was close to a couple times

 

I enjoyed the post by @ cacahuate51  about  Julius Fucik and the history of the famous circus melody.  I did not know this, although my dad used to tell me stories of when he was growing in Prague and had fond memories of his visits to the Julius Fucik fairgrounds and their merry-go-rounds and other rides.  The place was colloquially known as "Julda Fulda" - kind of catchy I think... 

Had hoped  I'd do a bit better on this one, maybe I was distracted by the somewhat scary lyrics

Had no hope of doing any better on this one - not sure what the right word is for the feeling between unhappy and happy, I think it's "meh"... 

 

Not a casual play for me....tempting to dig in, but, must get back to the guitar!

Rhythm improvement

Bass. Three easy songs and one very difficult if you want to play it right.

 

Been ill so not felt like It. Man flu! right, but push through we must

Ramones are perfect for practice and warm up of 16th notes 
I have most of their songs now But this Is probably my favourite, It helps that Its also One of my favourite Horror movies too 

Another Horror Classic And just a great theme, And thanks to a recent Video game which my son tells me Is awesome some younger fans will know this classic also.

Pretty easy riff I would put this at Intermediate level maybe but Its ok we will all 100% It

Great Bass picks this week all songs I would go back to over again 

Some decent improvement for me.
