Similar to the last few weeks (and by the looks of things some others here are in the same boat), didn't have much time to play and things won't ease up at work for a while yet. At least I managed to get some time, better than not at all.

That damn lead in Scumbag, everything was going so well until I hit that part. I was lucky to get away without any strikes on it to be honest!

Not even going to bother posting my attempt for Highway Song, the solos weren't too bad but those arpeggios got me, Think my score was in the high 60s or something, very difficult to sight read but a good song nonetheless! 

ive tried so bloody hard on those today lol

 

Iron Maiden has always great melodic material, every song we played so far I enjoyed a lot 

 

I think I’m not technical enough to appreciate the song to a level that it probably deserves 😂

I was just wondering about something:
Have we ever put a song into a weekly thread just to get some more input about the general sense from everyone about the difficulty?

I saw in the other thread that the discussion is slow and I guess we all just prefer to play some songs instead 😁

 

It could be a bonus song in a week with the only objective of giving it a quick score, sometimes just wanting to play more and getting another song suggestion like that I think is quite cool

Could be either new songs or songs we've played before

Even though a new song would be 'played' already I think if it was just a bonus song like described before it might be fine to play it again like 6-12 months later but this time it'll have an undoubtedly good fitting rating

 

This might give Rodman some help too to come up with a good system for each difficulty in the Difficulty Rating Compendium

Not that i am aware of and I wouldn't mind doing it.

That being said as far as i know none of the weeks difficulties are permanent. They are just guidelines of what it could be, if the contestants in that level say its to easy or hard than it could be changed.  Just make sure to leave a comment when posting your images.

Hi, im a bit of a derp to be honest, so im just removing my attached images when the scores improve.  Is that okay?

no need removing them, system is taking your highest score only anyway.
