My thoughts exactly. The slides are also my biggest problem.

somethings really screwed with my note detection on bass since 1-2 sessions, changed some settings and have messed up stuff... sometimes even full notes (despite even my tuner says its the perfect note!) does not get recognized by rocksmith anymore... hope I can fix it soon 

 

 

I played the "Alternate Lead" E standard version on guitar, D standard is not real compatible with my guitar.  Not sure if that counts towards the leaderboard, but my guitar playing at this level is not very competitive anyway...

For me what helped was the mod that shows the note on screen (but it was because of different tunings and on my bass the 12th fret note of the E string was being detected as a different note)

I've been really busy this week so I haven't had much chance to play. 😔

 There has been some discussion about the slides in the middle section of this song.  I haven't entirely straightened that out, but here's my two cents.   Something that helped me finally stay on green through the slides is to put some extra volume on the note right before the slide.  That seems to keep the volume up through the slide and helps it register correctly.  ( I also play the first note after the slide with extra volume, but that may be just because it's sounds funkier that way, not sure that helps the scoring. ) Fun song,  great to see people improving their scores...

the pitched slides make it a bit hard to get a good score. also find if it kinda weird he put some of the barchords on the 2nd fret instead of the 7th since it slides down still fun to play tho.

Great playing everyone! I am actually on the ferry to Corsica and have time to to the new weeks post. Which i shall do the next hour.
