Lead scores

Really good training for beginners.

For me this was quite easy, but I think 4 is ok.

What a classic! I haven't played this in a long time. PS. I don't take up the competition after seeing @ cacahuate51 score. GG again 😆

And this is really hard to achieve good score and good sound while playing. Perhaps if someone knows how to play fingerstyle it will be easier, but I can't play well with a pick. Of course, as I mentioned earlier, this is more than 5, maybe not 7, but 6-6.5 for sure.

This is crazy as Japanese charts usually are. I agree diff is 8.5-9.

great lead by Hammett learnt this sort of years ago probably helped with this score

Holiday off, is messing with my mind, thought it was Saturday and I better get my last attempts in.  Anyway - finally got a perfect on this after lazy playing was putting me one or two notes down...  Back to John Denver and Kirk Hammett kicking my butt this week.

Rhythm path in Unforgiven seems even a little more difficult to me than Lead.

I got better, i noticed on my PRS and Charvel, it doesn't always connect with the notes, each in different places it's weird, though the solo I suck got to admit that.

I practiced this one the most out of all of them yet you guys still obliterated me 😛

i opened it in eof to analyze it a bit more

Theres a metronome throughout the song but denver is slightly late or early ( can be up to 1/32 note, its not constant which is relief cause i also tend to struggle to keep in time so its nice seeing it happen with a pro).

Basically you have to ignore the metronome/ tapping and try to play where he plays the guitar ( which is hard to predict since its not as constant as the metronome)... its also a bit hard since this is a rendition of the song and not really the notes he plays  ...so yea xD...

I agree that the current tabbed lead path theoretically doesnt have anything too hard which generally would make it be a beginer/ intermediate song however the timing/tempo/and it not landing where you think it might land makes it really hard to get a good score. There's probably another version of the song by john denver that is more cdlc friendly to tab/play along to/ doesnt have a metronome/ has a metronome and he plays more on beat.

should we do ratings off of score or off of content? I wouldnt mind lowering it but seems like not that many people are getting 95+s? Any technique will be hard to those who dont use it ..so i guess the line is a bit blurry

anyways its a really good song and i do enjoy the campfire lead rendition, fun fingerpicking warmup thanks rodman, hard version to tab!

congrats to all of you with highscores, hope to see more!

For my scores, I just improved the entire song (trying to make sure I was in the correct chord form).  It sounded good to me, but, I doubt my playing was that close to the chart.

A nice reminder that I don't like using drop tunings for some reason.
