Hello my name is blake has anybody else  on here been having any issues with the cdlc songs loading in on the game ive tried everything i can think of ive deleted everything and redownloaded ive downloaded the rocksmith 2014 remastered patch file and it still wont fix it

Generally if cdlc songs are not loading (freezing when you select them in the menu) it's because the patch/dll file hasn't been installed properly.

Are you on windows or mac?

I had also this problem that Rocksmith didn't start at all. I don't remember exactly how I fixed it, but something like, going back one version, and I think I opted out of the betatesting versions too... I remember I copied the whole directory with the old refreshed version, in case the program would not function in the future, I maybe copied  the refreshed old contents back after I upgraded the program, not sure though. But you can always search the forums on steam for more precise answer...

Uninstalling the game keeps certain files like the old cdlc .dll file, which will cause the game to crash if it's used on a different game version than intended.

Since you've got backups of rocksmith if you selected the wrong folder with the cdlc enabler it won't install the dll to the correct game and it will still crash when you play cdlc. Use the browse local files option on steam and select that path in the cdlc enabler, then run the game through steam to make sure you're running the correct version.
