"Repeat Close" and "Repeat Open" functions in Guitar Pro being ignored when imported to EoF

Featured Replies

As the title says. Any GP5 files I import have their repeat close and open parts completely ignored. Tested with this tab. The screenshot shows where the intro notes start. The Time signature is way off and the notes don't start in the right place. The whole intro section is 140BPM.

The tab file you're using is screwed, it won't even open in guitar pro 5 as is. After re-saving it in gp6 as a gp5 it takes off an extra repeat from all of them and it lines up fine. It was also missing a repeat open at the start of the file which might've also been causing issues. Given the lack of legato slides and dodgy repeats I guess it was a bad tux guitar conversion.

Here's a fixed one.

If it's this bad already I can't expect it to be too accurate when it comes to the song either thought. Maybe the "official" tab would be a better starting point.
