I think this one is solid 6.

 

Question to advanced bass players. Parts like the one in the picture, do you play with single finger or alternately with two fingers?

 

 

 

Hitting with one finger I have better sound and accuracy, but I lose speed and after a few minutes I feel tired in my hand. Hitting alternately with two fingers seems more natural, but I hit less cleanly, probably not enough practice ;)

 

Same. I actually switched to using a pick on this one, too tiring.

I never us a pick in bass playing, never never, and i do 2 fingers walk style

 

My impression is 7.5 both, very good Adv or Mc songs both.

 

I´m in favor of keeping them as is for the reason of songlenght, i´s a lot easier to have more goes on the Idol song.

I am sick of these songs and I just cant hear them anymore... i can't.. i just..... no. Also, i'm going to throw my bass out of a god damned window if i don't get the stupid intonation issue fixed.

I feel ragingclaw's pain - "Apache" was not sync'd the same as every other song for me, as well as some note in the 2nd to last phrase being off - I restarted *at the end* so many times, having gotten used to the offset and hitting 'perfect' for the vast majority of the notes, suddenly i'd *completely miss* a note in the 2nd to last phrase?!  I feel like actually getting 100% on this was trial and error to find the exact offset of the errant note more than learning the song.
