  1. Rhythm Poor recognition of easy power chords in the chorus, once again I don't know why ☚ī¸ Ohh the arpeggios destroyed me as you can see, strong 5 or 5.5. The main rhythm path is not in E Standard as indicated, but A Standard, which is too low for me. The bonus rhythm is in E Standard, I don't know which one counts.
  2. Other scores from Lead One of the songs I used to hear often when I was in school. We played this song in the championship a year or so ago, but that was the old CDLC. I played this song a long time ago, but not in the championship. It was the old CDLC, and I remember it being difficult for me, but now the new one is much more enjoyable 😊 Strange tuning... Aside from a very difficult solo tapping section, the rest is playable for me. I'd give this an 8.5.
  3. @cacahuate51 In my opinion the rating is definitely too low, I think you sometimes do that with charts of this type of music genre. Here we have constant fast riffing, jumping around the fretboard, and the soloing isn't exactly easy either. If it weren't for the streaks of double stops, I would probably have around 80%... For me this is definitely an 8 and masterclass level chart. The rhythm is generally similar, except without the solo. Last week, the rhythm chart for "Satan" was easier for me, and it was a masterclass... @Rodman once mentioned that the rating should be influenced by how you can sound while playing the song. There's no way this would sound good here for me 😉 A solid 7.5
  4. Lucky you 😄 Syncing tempo in prog rock songs, especially from the old days when musicians didn't use these sync tools, can be a challenge. Plus, such songs often have non-standard time signatures. @pedropmf Anyway, even though I've had to spend a lot of time syncing the tempo many times, I've always done it manually, so unfortunately, I don't know 😐 If you use some good and free tools for this, I might even try it out, because I've only heard about some paid ones before.
  5. Bonuses at the end of this theme week Fun bassline as often seen in Grateful Dead songs I dug this out from the deep archives, I hadn't played this in a while. A long time ago, I was obsessed with watching End of an Era concert video, and this song stuck with me, it was great to revisit it!
  6. Some more improvements I also played this song earlier with a pick, as it should be, and now I played it with my fingers and I had much better recognition, even though I didn't feel like I was playing it better 😄
  7. Bass I don't know why or if it's just me, but when I play easy, repeatable charts like this with a pick, I get random misses. I had 98% accuracy with a pick, played second time with my fingers, and 100%... This is fun on bass And this too
  8. Not now, I don't know when, maybe when I create another CDLC because I rarely make charts for the masterclass difficulty level.
  9. You surprised me with that week 608, but I checked when it was and I was in Turkey at the time, so it's very possible. So I missed two weeks after all 😅 A few years ago, there were CDLCs I often replayed, but now they're very old CDLCs and I don't really go back to them. Lately, I rarely replay the same CDLCs multiple times, so it's hard to find a favorite. But I think I could do a week based on the CDLCs I created 😉
  10. Fixed Lead. After the repair this looks pretty good. And Rhythm Some chords less popular. 4/4.5. Honestly, this was easy for me, but you need to be able to sight-read effectively, so that's my feeling. For me 4.5 max. Cool song, I've played this a while ago. There's a short solo and an arpeggio, so 6 is fine. 7.5 ok
  11. I think it's about participation. In fact, since joining the 2020 championship, I think I've only missed one week, when I was in Tanzania in March of this year, so the 20-week streak might be accurate. On the other hand, why isn't @Rodman mentioned with his 666-week streak? 😅 I think you haven't missed a week in a long time either.
  12. Yes, It looks like Rodman fixed this CDLC himself and posted a link to the broken original CDLC from the database. @Rodman Please add a link to the fixed CDLC, as not everyone uses the repair tools themselves.
  13. @Rodman thanks for this devil week! First, an intro to this week. The choice is obvious! Now for the songs. Unfortunately, I couldn't play beginner song, the chart is broken and chords disappear from view. I don't know if it's just me, but if it doesn't bother anyone else, then it's ok. Cool song, CDLC looks old but is playable. 4 is probably ok, maybe 4.5. From what I remember, the Beatles were accused of having some sort of connection with the devil in the old days, so they probably made it into the selection for a reason 😅 Not such an easy chart, a bit technical, I would give it 5.5. In fact, only solo is a challenge. 6.5. I think this is a similar difficulty level. 6/6.5. The solos were too difficult, but a few sections with streaks of the same notes helped my score. 8.5.
  14. I had to play this again to improve on the terrible scores from my first attempts. I skipped that chord jump and held one chord, so I had a few misses there. It's too difficult for me, I can't believe that others don't have problems with it. And that was a good try. However, I think this is more 7.5 than 8.
