Rhythm 3 3.5 4/4.5 Here, basically only power chords, most of them are played with one finger in Drop D tuning. More like 3/3.5 than 4. This also seemed a bit too easy for a 5. More like a 4.5. 6.5 8

And kudos for taking the time to write such an extensive post with descriptions for this week songs - it looks like you could run a music blog 😉 Cool songs, all sharing a somewhat similar musical universe (perhaps with the exception of Santana song). I'll give my ratings, but some of the charts have already slipped my mind a bit 😄 3 4.5 4.5 Ok, this is where there was the most disagreement. After the first playthrough, this is definitely not a 7, but certainly not a 4 either. I’d place this somewhere in the middle - around a 5.5 so a hard intermediate or easy advanced. I don't know, I think I'd give this a 7. Most of the chart isn't hard, but that short solo... hmm, I don't know how to play it. So, a 7 because of that. 8 This didn't seem all that very hard to me, but the score depends heavily on recognizing all those pull-offs. It's also hard to get a good sounding playing this, so I'd give a 7.5, though an 8 would be fair too.

Wow, that’s really cool! I hadn't noticed it before, even though I see it's been around for a few weeks. But now we have to pay even closer attention to grades, so expect me to be a pain in the neck, haha 😄 I don't know if the ratings you see there are added when creating the week topic and take into account later editions or not? If not, the song should be tested and rated by more than one tester before the week begins, to avoid a highly subjective diff rating. For example, this week host @cacahuate51 rated Santana's song a 4, while @drand gave it a 6 and @Rodman a 7, an extremely wide discrepancy!

First attempt in over a year when I played this for testing. Improvement failure 😬

Bass I’d say 3 rather than 2 4.5 An awkward fingering chart; it could be made easier by moving some notes to a different string and fret. 5/5.5 here. I got a little lost in these slide sections. 6.5. It's a good thing this is a bonus, because most of the chart is just streaks of the same notes, but those transition sections are tricky. 8. Really difficult, but a cool chart. 8.5.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the chart at all, I know I played it for testing purposes and rated it a 6, so I guess it wasn't very difficult. Rhythm It shouldn't be lower than Lead, rather the same rating both paths. Unfortunately, in chord charts like this I always get some random misses... I find this interesting and have a question for you all: do you have any trouble with the kind of finger stretching required for this chart? 🤔 For me, a 5-fret span is max I can manage reasonably comfortably; a 6-fret span like the one here (changing from 3–7 to 3–8) is too much for me, and I’d certainly rate that higher than 4. Similar to Lead, an old test attempt. The vast majority of the chart is at a beginner level, but some sections are truly a masterclass.

Thanks for the week @robolechuga ! First scores @Rodman you mentioned the old CDLC version of this. I remember it well! It was one of the CDLCs I played a lot back in the early days of RS. I recall the chart being built mainly around those palm mutes. Good songs, not too difficult. Score from testing a year ago Oh I have no chance in these tapping parts...

@cacahuate51 I looked at the leaderboard spreadsheet and saw what was on the screenshot. I thought it was amazing and probably the first time two players had the same accuracy score, streak, and point score. And then I looked in the last week topic for your score and it wasn't there, so I don't know what's going on 😂

Lead improvements

I think we should remove the Steel Panther charts from the suggestions if there are any left, because the quality of these CDLCs does not meet any quality requirements...

A pretty easy bass week, but some nice charts. Here you can already feel that this is an old chart.
