    Last chance to participate this year.

    - I have been busy with house improvements.

    - I'm playing in a band again.

     

    Most of my practice time has gone against our band's songs, not to embarrass myself before my band mates.

    Next year I will try to stay in the championship, but won't make it every week. How does that freebird stuff work, again?

    A bit better with the pick. I can play most sections at 90% speed. Are those chords really necessary? Covers on Youtube don't have them.

    Surprisingly, rhythm is much easier than bass. I played this song a long time ago (my selection) and was surprised I made it through with a decent score

    I really like the Wolfmother song and it seems so simple, but I can't figure it out and get cramps midway through. I lend the bar clamp from my son and put it on the 5th fret, no cramps but still to tricky even when I do not have to shift the fret hand. Made it to the finish with bronze. Still some days to practise.
