My problem is that I've downloaded some CDLC songs and when I'm trying to play them I get stuck on a screen and It won't move from that point, does anyone know how to fix this?

Sounds like you have not install the required dll file.

Get it here and install it in your Rocksmith folder.

thanks for answering, I've just downloaded the file and put it on the folder but, still doesn't work

Some files are just duds -- the charter who uploaded them didn't test them to make sure they work. It can take three or four tries packing a custom with the toolkit before you get a working file. The customs-building process is still a work in progress.

 

Try a few other customs, make sure you've tried some by a few different people. Have a look in the comments too -- you can usually tell if a CDLC is working well or not from the comments people leave.

MVega is exactly right. The toolkit can be frustrating sometimes. Please notify the customs creator and if he leaves it up for too long please let us know about it.

I haven't barely ever had issues with the toollkit packing files, and I've made a few customs. I guess it's good I always test.

Hey Guys, Thanx for the awesome site.  I'm having the same issues i'm on a mac i can get the customs on my game but once i try to play it just freezes it doesn't matter what cdlc i try it just will not freaking work.. Please Help

For a mac, you have to make sure that you put files that end with 'm_psarc' into your dlc folder. I'd estimate that about 80% of the songs that are in the library are strictly 'p_psarc' files. You can convert the 'p_psarc' files to 'm_psarc' files using the latest version of the Toolkit. :)

If a specific song doesn't start, is because that song have an issue. It happened to me with Constant Motion (tried first time and didn't work, and i realized that the vocals were the problem so i removed them and the song worked). If it is someone else's CDLC, advise the charter or do it by yourself
