This week songs are

worth the effort!

 

well. the most positive attribute i can find for the last to weeks probably is "stormy waters"... my dad dropped to the floor dead with a heart attack, got resusucated by my mum, survived (one hour and the whole day before - alone - absolutely no chance for survival), got 33°C hibernation for 2 days, was woken up with no brain damage, got tripple bypass surgery last wed, went well and - fingers crossed - will be up on his legs and rocking with his grandchildren very very soon again.

Rock as hard as you all can, now.

well some nice tunes this week, i much prefer the Cranberries version of Zombie though, i was lucky enough to see them live a few times and Dolores will be sadly missed.

after extensive tuning re-tuning and tuning again i got this,

Why are the bass songs different from all others?

 

Because bassists play to support the song.  I'll let the lead guitarists make their own excuses.

So after a couple of FreeBird trollish posts, I'd better show some scores

 

Stand By Me = 100%

 

I Feel Good = 96% <-- I'll work on this more later.

I could play this bassline for hours.

 

After a few tries, bit of a workout for my weak bass pinky.

 

After listening to this song my daughter said it seemed like he was singing about lots of girlfriends.  "I wouldn't stay with someone who had another girlfriend."  From the mouth of babes.....  

Once you get into the picking pattern this song is not that hard.

I've tried to get the timing right on that, but it's damn hard to get it to sound anything like what the song actually sounds like. The rhythm side sounds much more like the song you hear from the record. I also did some youtube research on how that song was played live, and in all cases the live versions sounded 500 times better than the record :lol:

Welcome! You may choose your own difficulty class for each instrument you play (lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar). I'm putting you now to the beginner level, but if you think you are more suited at intermediate, advanced or even masterclass classes, let us know :)

 

Briefly put, you can play any level song you want and you can post as many improvement screenshots as you wish. Even though I placed you now on beginner level, you definitely should challenge with the intermediate level song as well.

 

If there are any specific parts of the rules you don't understand, let us know and we can hopefully clarify it for you and for future participants.
