This week songs are

worth the effort!

 

well. the most positive attribute i can find for the last to weeks probably is "stormy waters"... my dad dropped to the floor dead with a heart attack, got resusucated by my mum, survived (one hour and the whole day before - alone - absolutely no chance for survival), got 33°C hibernation for 2 days, was woken up with no brain damage, got tripple bypass surgery last wed, went well and - fingers crossed - will be up on his legs and rocking with his grandchildren very very soon again.

Rock as hard as you all can, now.

300 weeks, huh? That's a one long ride  ^_^

@Mortalo None of us has been here for that long tho.  I think I'm the oldest member, and i started week 16. You came week 27 and Rodman week 38.

 

Still, it has been a long time and i have enjoyed it a lot.  So thanks to everyone who ever participated.

Speaking as the newest participant (I think) , coming in at week 296, I appreciate the work that goes into this and thank you for your dedication and time. especially Rodman. I'm enjoying it greatly.   Great resource and motivator.

well some nice tunes this week, i much prefer the Cranberries version of Zombie though, i was lucky enough to see them live a few times and Dolores will be sadly missed.

after extensive tuning re-tuning and tuning again i got this,

 

 

only to realise it is not on this weeks playlist  :(

 

the Ben E King song i might have played before.

 

this was always my Friday night after work chill out tune, glass of JD sit back and get into the groove, always seemed to help relax after a shitty day. looking at the amount of times i played it i have had a lot of shitty days  :lol:

 

 

i better re-string the Guitars now as I'm getting carried away on the bass

I think with Money for Nothing, once you get the main riff down your score will climb quick (there are not many vastly different parts in the song).

The difficulties are the wrong way around. Rhythm should be 4 and lead should be 5.

This is going to need some serious riff repeating.

These are some great tunes this week.  It would be a perfect song list to have a da capo week and play the same songs for 2 weeks, hint hint. :)
