Every time i go to play a CDLC  Rocksmith will allow me to select the song and tune my guitar. After i have successfully tune my guitar it seems as if the game freezes with just the amps on the screen. I have replaced the .dll file a couple of times. Any suggestions?

1. Get the right .dll                                                           https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QhJqyhZthcTS_EyiDqJG_mmLcz1Gymcu/view?usp=sharing

2. Make sure it has the right name.                                  D3DX9_42.dll

if that don't work.   Take a printscreen of your root folder and post here.

That seemed to work but however no matter what song i play and how many notes i hit it automatically gives me a 100%. Thoughts on that?

I'm having the same issue. I downloaded the .dll file and put it in both the system32 folder and my general root folder. Still freezes up whenever I try to play a CDLC song

system32 folder

huh, touching the sys32 folder with dll isn't something i would have thought any user would go for...

general root folder

What do you call the general?

It seems like you've put the dll everywhere except where it needs to be which is in Rocksmith root folder (aka where the exe of the game is) which can easily be found via steam interface.
