Hi guys,

 

I'm trying to create a very simple cdlc. At the moment I'm trying to do something very bare (no dd, no lyrics, no phases etc) just to see if it works. I used EOF to generate the xml files and wwise to create the wem file, then I tried to pack everything together with rstoolkit (v2.8.3.0). 

 

The problem is that when I generate the file I get the following package generation error:

sorry, part of the error is in italian. The translation should be something like "Index out of range. the value should be non-negative and smaller than the dimension of the collection".

 

I tried to search for similar problems but couldn't find anything...any help? 

@@saphrosit, yes, sorry for that, we'll roll hotfix for a stable asap, for now switch to the beta to fix this :)

Hey i updated to the latest version (i think) and having this issue... so it seems i need the "beta update"...? 
thought 2.8.3.0 was the latest... which i have running or i guess i click the update button and hope it works in the toolkit itself??
i stopped trying it in the past since it would just stay on the same version even after downloading the update repeatedly...

so i tried to update... and the WHOLE PROGRAM CRASHES...

well it was earlier this week i realised i was still using rstoolkit-2.7.1.0-86e68021-win

:) i kinda just stayed on it since i never had a problem that i couldn't resolve...

 

for example i had some issues with album art (filenames maybe?) if it came up sometimes i'd just use paint to save it as a .png instead of a jpg which seemed to be the only format i used to get the issue on...

I've updated both EoF and toolkit to latest versions, redid DDC with newest versions, didn't help

I checked the arrangements (vocals too) for any special stuff but everything looks good,

I tried another CDLC, also the same error.

 

They both have a really low tuning C Drop Bb Fixed tho, could that be something?

Use a new album artwork image file (try using 512x512 jpg format).  The toolkit doesn't like the image you are using.

Allright, that worked, thanks alot.

(I've used alot of different formats through the years and usually it works for the toolkit, but I guess this one was to big)

 

As feedback for the toolkit: Can we maybe make the error say 'Use another image'?

cause I can't get that from the text in the error :/

Here you go: this contains the .dlc.xml and the template now probably has the working image saved (the 512x512 .png)

also contains the not working image 1000x1000 something .jpg
