I'm a bit confused on what to do...

Featured Replies

So, I installed the D3DX9_42.dll file and put that with the rocksmith2014.exe and other files

and I got Sweet Child O' Mine and put that in my DLC folder, I haven't purchased any DLC but I have the folder, now I'm wondering if the Cherub Rock is an apsolute necessity?

Do I need to buy that song?

Ta, -Jude

You need to buy one DLC.

If you buy Cherub Rock, you don't have to convert the CDLCs off here to some other song ID, as the vast majority work with Cherub Rock.  So I'd advise you to buy Cherub Rock. :)

I purchased "1979" instead of "cherub rock" by the pumpkins. now every cdlc I download has to be ran through to toolkit before playing. It does get old...Save yourself & listen to Missis Sumner.
