How do i make cdlc work on rocksmith remastered?

I have already put D3DX9_42.dll inside rocksmith folder but the songs i downloaded from ignition still won't show up

    @@Mozzer If songs don't show up, it's because you don't have Cherub Rock, so BUY IT :)

    I purchased Cherub Rock, downloaded and inserted the DLL, and the CDLC shows up.  The song autoplays as you hover over it.  However, I get as far as tuning and it freezes.  Ideas?

    So, is it really that I need to buy this (Cherub Rock) exact song, even if I bought some other songs like Killed By Death, or Avenged Sevenfold song pack...?
