Why i dont see this week beginning song in my rocksmith???

Hi all,

 

thanks to my favourite PC to Mac Converting assistant ;)  i have some scores to post this week,

 

firstly the beginner bass to warm up with,

 

 

then Int Bass to shout at, this really doesn't look that hard but I'm buggered if i can do it,

 

 

finally the ELO Lead which is a bit of a hand cramper for me,

 

 

I'll get better on this once my big gorilla hands start to get supple again, and i'll get better on the Bass once my brain gets supple again,

In that case, all I can say is make sure you've put it in the right folder.  I'm on Mac so don't really know any more than that. :(

I tried this on SA first, thinking from the preview snippet I listened to "oh yeah, I've got this!".....then it gets to that bit!  X-X-X!   :lol: 

My brain seems to shut down and refuse to recognise colours anymore at that point lol!  :lol:

Sorry, clueless here!  You tried deleting the dlc from your folder and redownloading it?

Hey @@Fraggle Baggle I get the exact same thing the bloody X-X-X's ...... usually just before the nice easy 44444 bit at the end, something in that song brain washes you into thinking that the colours and numbers are all mixed up.

 

I think I'd be happy with 92% though.

At 99% on bass, I've officially had enough of Mr. Blue Sky.  It's so sugary sweet that it makes my teeth hurt.  That song probably causes cavities.

 

Now it's on to Gingivitis Gengis Khan.

wow, that's all i can think of.  definately something i wouldn't have picked, but after playing it and hearing it a couple times, it's growing on me.  i think that's one of the reasons i like the contest so much, in addition to making me a better player, i get to hear so much new music.

The only other thing I could think to try is repacking it with a different official dlc id that you have.  Other than that, I wouldn't have a clue, sorry.  Hopefully someone else with the knowledge will come along and respond.  I hope you manage to get it working before the end of the week, klaw.

@@klaw place all of your cdlcs in some other place and check with that song only.

after some more time in RR at slow speed i tried it at full speed.

The sound I'm making have improved from "cat fighting bear" to "cat trampled on the tail".   I'm going back to RR.

@@klaw make sure that you've grabbed the right version. It's the only thing I can imagine you possibly dled the mpsarc

I'm enjoying working on this one, its improving my movement around the neck without looking.  Still keep hitting the wrong fret and quickly losing my place from there, but it's getting better.  At least I'm doing better with reading the colours now! :D

I'm surprised that Genghis Khan is giving you so much trouble and I just can't wait to get some time to play it and show to you that it is EASY! :lol:

Rhythm song is still fast for me but i'm trying. Not sure will I able to play it with a good result in SA later. Will see.
