I've done everything required and it's still not working. I downloaded D3DX9_42.dll and put it in the Rocksmith2014 folder, I have Cherub Rock (as well as that I have the Smashing Pumpkins song pack and the Rush II Song Pack), I've restarted my computer, I've verified game cache twice, I've restarted Steam, nothing. I'm using Windows 10 if that matters. Please help.

get ready for a useless link to 5 different steps that tell you how to do nothing. You would think someone would be savy enough to actually make a sticky thread with screen captures of each step on how to do this. You read down the support thread and every 5 post is someone having problems getting started. Seems like a common thing that no one will take the time and make a proper thread on how to do all the steps. They would rather just post a link to steps that obviously don't work. I am in the same boat as you. I'm starting to feel like I wasted $43 dollars on buying RS again and a terrible smashing pumpkins song.. I'm getting really frustrated.

Turns out I'm an idiot. The Smashing Pumpkins song pack does not come with Cherub Rock. I bought it and Rocksmith 2014 is now working with DLC. @@chris1169 , I suggest taking a look at this page: http://customsforge.com/topic/25877-cdlc-not-working/ in it's entirety. Go through all the steps, I'm sure there's some minor thing you're missing. Good luck.
