Amazing... Considering the number of plays I have on that track, I have never done a video for it :D... Will have to see if I can still play it in Master Mode :D it's been a while. Cheers folks for the Birthday wishes. I'm having a lovely day :D x

Apologies for the gigantic pics but here's my claim to fame :) My best friend and I went to see Monster Truck about 2.5 years ago at a small venue in Manchester. I'd only just had my second baby boy, Bob,  was knackered and had "Guy" hair (Guy being the toothy character from kids 90's comedy, "Maid Marian and her Merry Men.") John (bassist, in glasses) and Jeremy the guitarist were really nice and I politely requested them to have our pictures taken with them :) I then promptly got home and started running every day to shed the baby weight :D Good times! I saw them at a large open air festival here in Toronto a few years back.  They're fun in a larger venue too.

 

I think that they're from Hamilton - about a 45 minute drive west of Toronto.

John's dad is from Sussex England :) I found out that bit of trivia after we bought him a beer. I told him I had rellies in Toronto... conversation dried up when I couldn't say where exactly as I've never visited. One day I'll go to Canada and settle there in my log cabin next to the lake with a mountainous backdrop /sigh :) I do love Canada :)

Hey, you've got rellies in Toronto and I have some in Norwich.  Wanna trade?  It would be more convenient.  It would be amuch shorter trip to not visit them anyway.

 

...back to the championship... Sweet Mountain River on bass (after half in hour in RR, as usual) = 99%.  It felt a little sloppy.I need to work on my speed.

That's exactly where I am, picking up my "new" car. :)

In the Paulo Mendonca songs middlepart at all those sliding chords the note recognition is horrible, in both paths.

But don't worry, I'm actually working on a solution.... testing now

now it works fine. The slide chords before were pluck, slide down, slide up. In the new version you have to pluck again after the slide up, and all those slides are now unpitchted. Bass the same, I'm pleased with that :D Also I shiftet this fast transition in bass one octave up (heard it in the audio) and removed the deadnotes between the sliding chords. Scroll speed is a bit faster with 1.6.

Indeed the slide chords doesnt look that graceful than before, but it saves nerves

Monster Truck happens to be out of my hometown, of all places. I saw them for the first time this summer myself, think I even made a post about it at the time! :P I like seeing them get big - good Canadian musicians too often go unrecognised!

@@Gamut that's awesome, it is a shame that Celine Dion seems to be the most recognised Canadian in our land. I do my best to spread the word and educated my friends on Canadian rock music though (mostly Rush mind you) :) the coheed track is one of my favourites too, I will probably do a video of that one too. Very excellent choices this week. MC sounds terrifyingly difficult but I will give a punt at what sounds like an orgy of sweep arpeggios! Again, big thanks for burthdee wishes. I feel much love :D

I like the int. song a lot more than the MC one. Not really my kind of music.

 

The other day, while I was looking through the files of the game, charting its unused features, I learned a new thing I wasn't aware of after 1400+ hours: pressing "-" when you have a song selected switches between LAS and SA. It's in the manual, but not in the controls at the bottom of the screen.

 

Also, have you ever opened the sort menu (on PC, hold TAB) and pressed a key (a-z) while the sort menu is open? (works when you have the song list sorted in a way that can be sought by pressing a key). Probably will be fixed in the remastered version.  :P

Climbed a bit on the accuracy, not by much but its fine for now!

Most of my misses are from chord changes, cause im probably too slow even though i always get that when theres a fast song like this
