150. Who would guess? Championship is an integral part of custom community. To test your skill but also to introduce to new music you wouldn't listen to before. Here I found about Metric and fell in love with them (yeah, Emily, who cares about those other guys :lol: ). It's great to see, after all this weeks, those old faces, some were here even before me, but also new participant after new participant joining. It's because of you we're here. Without you the Championship wouldn't exist (who am I cheating? I would do it even if only to myself :P ). If you have any ideas, issues, go ahead and share with us. Throughout all this weeks Championship changed quite a bit, and it can change even further, but always for the better.

You are not wrong Misses S they are getting harder, bit more work needed each week......we must be improving though

I agree that Iron Man is tough on bass. I didn't expected Time Warp to be harder, so it is how it is :D

Bass Category Advintmasginner: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=759545326 I know this song very well... never played it before though (although I have an old version of the chart which I've apparently played once and I don't recall playing it so I'm guessing I tried it and quit after the first few bars if the version wasn't working very well... so I'm not counting that try :) )

 

Some really fun parts to play in this hence my new categorisation "Advintmasginner". I suspect a pick is generally used but I'm shit with a plectrum. Glad my fingers pads resemble the hardy corduroy of a geography teachers elbow patch.

I felt a slight twinge in my index finger so didn't play for as long as I would have wanted to, but then I probably have been neglecting other things in my life...

I did give this one, one more go.  I had to.  My score from the other night was not good at all.  This isn't much better though. :D

Oh, yeah, I meant to say, I played Iron Man with a pick.  How the hell did I manage to play it without last night?  No wonder my plucking fingers were sore!  :lol:

I found that the only way to get better at playing certain tunes is to get into character, so with my fish net stockings on and a little light make up (just a bit of red lippy of course, i'm not gay) and a pair of knickers that i found in the car I was ready for the Rocky Horror Picture show,

 

So with a pelvic thrust i dived into the Rhythm to improve on my score of 91. something %

 

hmmm not a bad improvement i thought....... while I'm in the mood and the Gin and Tonic is just kicking in I'll have a go at the Advanced Bass.

 

This was NOT a 'Decent performance' and i'll probably never play the Time Warp again as the bass is out of my league and the Rhythm sounded awful...... plus i got chaffing from my attire  :ph34r:

 

Time to get my Punk Rock stuff on and thrash the Bass a bit    B)

I have many times received  99.32%, may be six. Like the high border, but finally jump over. My updated score:

Another hour or so and i managed to get my Int score on bass...... i went from 59% to 63% on LAS then i went straight to Sa and got 94% then 97%........ then this score,

 

i never thought i could get into the 90's but things just clicked and life was happy again  :D so happy in fact that i had another go at the Pistols Bass......

 

Not only 100% but i was pleased with the score as well, love playing this one 

 

this might be my last scores of the week....going away for the weekend

I'm sure this'll be bettered by the end of the week, but i'm out of time. Off to find some sun for a week and thaw out after a cold winter here.

@@Mortalo ...... yes I have found with some songs that they seem impossibly difficult but then you seem to start to get it in your head and it just clicks, then you wonder what all the fuss was about lol

I play LAS because its more chill. If someone gets the same score as me and we both have 98% for example then i go to SA and try to keep ahead a little bit at a time.
