After a lot fighting with the game to recognize even single notes, after having to bash my strings for the game to count a note and after many hours of trying to fix it to no avail, i present to you my rather crappy attempts for this week

Sorry if learn is song is an inconvienience for the organizers but score attack felt like it was a good idea to give me a strike for every single miss so... :p

that would happen if the sections are too short, but they're shurely long enough that this won't happen.

 

@ Exageration :p but near the middle of the song they do become short and 1-2 misses does give me a strike and then im playing with 5 strings and in the solo i get the remaining 2 strikes from that high e part at the middle of the solo

Usually I don`t like lead patch with chords` playing, however this is very nice. Next exercise track.

I can`t believe that I`ve played song with barre - chords :D The result is not impressive, but I see some progress.

@, I cannot believe you're getting any strikes but an acuracy of 98%, even in learn a song. I never get any strikes in not one of all tries and I'm only just on my way to 98%. No realy short sections in the whole song (like 2 or 4 notes, always 4 bars minimum).

this may be my 4th or 5th full run since we played it last year, getting closer

Im not even joking, d4 and c#4 chords almost never register and if i miss 2-3 of these chords in one section i get one strike. There are 3 sections with these chords inside so these 3 sections give me a strike each. And even if i get past (somehow) with like 2 strikes then the solo gives me the third because im stuck with 5 strings (missing high e) at the moment :( Again i could be wrong because this is maybe the 5th time ive used score attack

@frippchen @ThugRaven is right, those octave chords are stupidly hard to register and the last chord is a whole phrase. I'm surprised only ThugRaven and I are seemingly the only one's having detection problems with them.

@ so you only playing with 5 strings? With that obstacle there's no way, but 98? How?

@ those 4 string powerchords are really hard to register, you absolutely have to hit all 4 notes. Try a bit in RR how to get them.

@ The only usage of the high e is in the solo, and thankfully you can make it work entirely on the G and B strings. Tricky but you can do it. I just had it in my mind and used the ingame solo for just a reference point. Of course i missed a couple of notes but for some of them you have to do some crazy maneuvers :p

@ I think @ has the same problem i had. The solo (like all the song) has really short sections and if you fail more than 4 notes of a single section you get a strike. It is not a shredder solo for what you think you can touch it without fail but the short sections forced me to play it in RR a couple of times to learn it so i can do it in score attack. Also punished me playing the rhythm part :D Here are my scores:

 

 

 

 

As i said in my last post "I hate this song" (don't take it personal fishbone fans) and now than finally get it in score attack, i can say......now i hate it more man! ....... :D .......really.......(but just for the short sections)...

I never want to hear this song again! I am really struggling with the fast scale runs. I just can't get my fingers to co-operate.

Although i've RR'd this quite a few times, I haven't been able to improve on my 1st full run - WTF?? On to Megadeth......

@@iminashi Pick the slides (im assuming the ones in the solo) very hard, just put power on them it seems to work for me...sometimes :p
