The Quadrant 4 tones are, maybe a bit adjusted to this, taken from Stratus. The bonus lead just dont switches between them for any reason and sticks to the wah lead tone. But I thought noone would play this :D  but sounds good anyway. That one note mistake is still inside there (at 2:23), forgot the bonus lead as I fixed it :wacko: .

@@Brutus Erectus awsome scores and great performance, I don't think I'm getting this, but it's real fun, so I'll try to improve myself more on this. Should I fix this one note?

It feels like there's never really time to put in the effort to actually increase my scores. What with the GOG and Steam sales and all. Also, as I was improving my earlier customs I got the idea to write a new tutorial so I've been working on that for a while.

Personally for me "Quadrant4" terrible a song without any melody, It hurts my ears to listen to it, no way that i will play it.

The first half of this was unusually good. Naturally, I bombed the second half extra hard to even it out.

The slow scroll went away after I restarted in Learn a Song, but I can't get rid of it at all in Score Attack. It doesn't bother me for most of the song, but the solo melodies are incomprehensible at 25% scroll speed. :(

Oh, I got the hang of this, too.

 

I don't understand how love relates to heavy rotation. Does your love make you dizzy, as though you have rotated heavily? Is the attraction you experience like a whirlpool, dragging you into its vortex? Are you a radio host and you want to spin your partner all the time? 

 

Maybe I just won't get it until a J-pop idol thaws out my cold, dead heart.

My cat found the streaming notes of great interest, so much so that i couldn't see a lot of them.  when she decided to leave however, my playing didn't seem to get much better, hmmm.

Well after studying the AKB48 video to get some tips I realised that there was no guitars there, this obviously took many views to realise this fact and then I started thinking,,,,,,,,,,, after settling the young ladies down in bed for the night, how long would it take to make them all a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich in the morning ?

 

How long would i have to wait for the shower ?

@@Rodman Thanks for the welcome. I had meant to post my initial score to see how i have progressed but keep forgeting to screenshot  :wacko:. I started on about 63%.

My best so far:



I've not riff repeated any of the solo yet and hack my way through it at the mo and i'm way off. I have also been struggling with the c#m7 chord, can't get the shape down consistently so its a bit of pot luck. Other than that i'm missing the odd note and occasional first chord on changes.

Yayyyy!!! Welcome back! MC hasn't been the same without you 

Hey all.

 

I forgot about the scroll speed issue with No Good, Mr. Holden on lead (since I think I eventually got it to work). I updated the file in the download folder with one that now seems to work as intended now, and added the notes.eof file in case anyone wants it to make further changes, but I should have time to update things if anyone notifies me of anything that's off.

 

 

Anyway, my desktop computer was broken for about a month a while back and I can't really play Rocksmith seriously on my laptop (somewhat laggy/juttery), so I fell out of the habit of coming here. I'll try to stop by an participate more often in the future, but I might not have the time to seriously compete (especially across all three categories).

it's kinda jazz and doesn't need nice melodies, but it has a really great hookline, and of course tons of solos

I like to update my lead score too, but unfortunately my left pinky fingertip got a chap from warm and humid weather and sweating after playing too much and it hurts like hell if I play bendings with it. I tried it with a plaster but cannot improve that way. Maybe tomorrow I'm able to play again, but as I know it usually needs a few days to cure.

Have not really been playing any of the champ songs this week, when I've had time I've just been playinga bunch of songs from about a year ago that I couldn't play to see how far I've come, pretty much nailing a lot of them, bested my high score on Mother may I and a few others... I highly recommend going back to old songs you struggled with a year ago as it really boosted my morale to try Billy again, I played through it once more today at 80% speed to remind myself of the tune then busted out SA hard. It seems that my speed's getting better, could have done with a more impressive accuracy but I'm happy with the 700k improvement to the score :)

I have been revisiting a lot of songs as well and I cant believe the amount of progress I have made since I have been in the CS

 

Every song I tried I beet my PB...... even songs I had played 50 odd times. (especially bass)

 

This Championship must be helping, as playing even feels easier.
