Here is my first screen shots for the week, i've had a go at a few of the songs with varying success.

 

First is my attempt at Megadeth on lead, i tried on SA but i got 3 XXX's every time which is quite good as i feel i deserved at least 10 !

 

then i have the Electric six on bass, not really my cup of tea and reminds me of a pub just off of Oxford Street i once went in a few years ago (by accident of course) this pub seemed completely devoid of ladies for some reason.....hmmm

anyway heres the score.

 

 

 

i tried and tried on lead but can't get a score yet so i had a go at Metric, which i like so i might have some more plays of this.

 

 

thats it, just to get the ball rolling.

Might not be able to put any further bass plays in this week my new bass has gone back as the paint is coming off! Hopefully they can replace quick.

There is no way in hell that I'm going to make the megadeath song sound anywhere near good this week.  Its way to fast for me.

I'm no GOG but this song is just to good to leave alone.  But it sure makes my pinky finger burn in the fast repetitive part in the middle.

Lesson learned the hard way: Use a guitar with locking tuners on a song that last over 18 minutes. As you can tell from my streak, everything went fine until the G-string all of a sudden decided to go extremely flat, almost at the point of becoming a Gb, after a bend right in the middle of the solo. And yes, I am salty

i'm probably getting smoked by the other players on here, but right now i'm just glad to get through it without a hit

trying this many times, and I wondered about the random misses until I checked in EoF the sync....

the beatmap is synced to offbeats and the notes are mostly late, sometimes ok... my best result so far

@@Mortalo I also found some parts of the Mehadeth tune 'a little bit tricky'

In fact I found it all very tricky and I couldn't play this if I had another 10 fingers as my brain does not compute as quickly as the notes come hurling at me from my Mac screen.

I found myself laughing at my lack of hand, finger, string co-ordination then frown as the muscle pain started to seize all fingers up just as the skin on my finger split (super glue has done the trick)

I will be having another go as soon as my tendons heal and I advise everyone to give this tune at least one play through just to see how quickly your fingers can actually move.

 

Not giving up just yet but might just play Old Macdonald had a farm, tonight

After dozen restart passed SC, no way that t is 6.5, at least 8+. And it not learnable personally for me, very fast. (and i unlike fingers index on solo, a lot unnecessary shifting.)

So, i take Freebird again, have not any fun in MC, all a song not playable for me (no chance learn and to get good sounds, only disappoints).

I'm having a lot of recognition issues here! I forgot to do a screenshot of one of my runs (i almost hit 98%) but the terrible note detection just ruins everything, but hell, it's fun!

good evening all, i had to have another go at Megadeth just to see if i dislike it as much as i thought...... 

 

 

I probably won't be playing this again as it is a bit out of my league, too fast too furious and too painful.

 

so i put on my leather chaps, put an LED light in my pants and went on to the Adv Bass Electric six which, weirdly i quite enjoy

 

 

I know i am going to get smoked by Covinhas87 but thats all part of the fun,
