I don't normally intrude on the MC bass club house, but that's where I'm going to hang this week.  After 4 or 5 passes in RR, I'm up to 90%.

 

I can't seem to get the 5-8-7 slides to register very often, and the whole thing is a little too fast for me.  That just leaves more room for improvement.

Well this will need a lot of work! Solo & arpeggio bit at the end are killing me.

Me too! Downloading cdlc as we speak so some scores incoming in the medium of viele unerwünschte bildschirmfoto... My GCSE German is so out of date I had to look up screenshot because they didn't exist when I was at school :(

Of course we can learn German @@Rodman, how else can we remind German folk of us winning the world cup? :) I was pretty good speaker of German but sadly my awesome German teacher left after a pupil stalked him (no it wasn't me!) :)

another try, and I'm pretty sure that at some places it's out of sync, at least the last chorus. I'm always getting random misses there.

I made some free space and thought "Why not play XCOM?". Installed. SLI not working. nVidia Inspector not working. Uninstall drivers. Install Drivers. Shit happening B) Well, maybe not poop itself, but it's not working 100% right. Highly frustrated. Ehh...

 

edit: SLI working! And re-installing display drivers were unnecessary. Ass.

No score last week because I was in holidays without guitar at Sevilla (very beautiful town, and the paradize of Flameco's guitarists!).

 

I like very much the beginner song of this week, and I would like it much more if I can reach 99%  :)

Is it just me, or is the chorus for Austrian Death Machine undercharted?

 

It says you're supposed to alt pick D and G strings between the melodic licks. But what I'm pretty sure I'm hearing in the song is power chord chugs where it's telling me to just play the D string.

@@Gamut, the chorus chart seems ok to me, always single notes there, but about the missing pms I agree. The biggest flaw is the sloppy sync at the later chorus and of course the huge sections.

I must say that I cannot agree with the difficulty 5 on Lead... the solo is too hard for an intermediate song, in my oppinion.

well i managed another few plays and managed to get a few % on them, so this is my final beginner class scores fro the week ,i just wish i had more time as i know i could do better

... to add to my own statement about the difficulty this week: I also feel like "Feel Good" Lead is much easier than "OK":

Advanced Lead - 97.59 %

 

This is my score after 9 tries and starting practicing after my last post 1h ago (I think I could go further, but the slides are killing my streaks...). So I would suggest:

• "Feel Good" Lead - 5
• "OK" Lead - 7

... with this I will stop rambling about the difficulty and go to sleep instead :D

Upon listening harder, yeah, maybe no chords. Well... it sounds extra heavy when you play it that way! :D

Apparently my first play was on the Rhythm of this, whoops. Well, here's a lead score. Messing up a couple of the shifts, but once I get those, I can absolutely ace this.

Someone walked in on me at the end of this play and I missed the screenshot. Oh well, I should do a run on SA anyway.

Really shitty result. I think the not so long time ago since I picked the guitar for the 1st time  is showing in these kind of songs that speed is crucial. Which is something you gain through time playing. Hopefully at the end of the week it will be better. :D :)

 

I thought I needed to give Vodka some motivation to practice just a tiny bit more.  Just 0.01 ahead,k but still short of the top spot   :)
