failed to startgame (missing executable) see steam suport for more information

Everytime I try to launch my rocksmith 2014 i get tis message...

 

ok, I am new and have had the game since the december 24th, i managed to download some cdlcs and since then i get this message,

 

Even the cherub rock and the game I purchased are confirmed by steam...

 

Can I re- download the game to solve this missing file issue? is ther a patch?  I downloaded the manager

and the kit but they are still a little confusing to use...

 

Anybody out there have a solution?
