Cdlc Problems

So I got Rocksmith 2014 and I was really excited to do some cdlc. I watched the video and read the article on how to get cdlc to work. I did all of it but when I try to do a song I tune up and then nothing happens, I can still hear my bass but the game doesn't do anything. If anyone can help, please do
