Can some help me with this? Every time I try and play a cdlc song it only shows the amps and nothing else. I've tried to delete this file .dll file that some said to do on youtube but that didn't work.

Thanks

does it play the other songs fine ? when I had this problem it was down to the memory on my laptop being to low. Bought a bigger machine and not had the problem since (fingers crossed whilst touching wood)

If everything but CDLC work, you clearly missed a point

Are you sure you got the .dll in Rocksmith 2014 root folder under steam/steamapps/common/Rocksmith 2014?

Have you tried both dll (and make sure you delete the one you tried before testing the other)?

Do you have a console window opening when launching Rocksmith?

I have the same problem. I have Cherub Rock and another official DLC, both play fine. I have the d3dx9_42.dll

I also made sure that the CDLC I downloaded was for PC and they had the Cherub Rock ID but I only get the speakers and amp too.

I got it to work. I had to use the Rocksmith 2014 patcher. Hope it works for you too OP.

The link can be found in this videos description

The .dll or the patcher (only use one at the same time or they won't work) have to be place in Rocksmith 2014 root folder.

If you don't have a console window oppening when launching the game with the .dll means that you probably got it wrong.
