This was my life was fun to play...

The solo-ish part with all the slides in the middle I had trouble with though, even at 75% speed.

Muscle memory is starting to kick in. 90% may be achievable by the end of the week.

 

Really enjoying the challenge this week. It's tough, but not so hard that you give up in frustration.

 

Lucky you, I don't have muscle memory. :p

 

 

I'm doing worse and worse with Dead End Friends, so I'm not going to beat my score I did a few days ago. Also my finger top are hurting me. :unsure:

Its funny, the parts that are easy for me on the guitar are wrecking me here and vice versa.

I think thats it for me this week, played for 6 hours today because i couldnt stop and my left wrist hurts now.

Since I see @@then3verend lurking, a small update:

 

Hands are mostly good. Left is feeling slightly weak for the trills (not sure what else to call them, though the notes are pretty far apart) in the verse, which have led to some unusual misses, but otherwise I'm good to go.

 

Had a 99.57 and a 99.47 ruined by last chorus BS (well, slightly more than last chorus for the latter).

 

One of these times, Rocksmith will feel forgiving... right?

Looks like I'll be picked up around 2:30, so I'll try a few more times, but I think my right hand is nearing its limit. Had a (pretty legit) 99.57 (which actually was probably better than my current score. I guess I have a video, but I don't care that much) and a (totally fucked) 99.38. Had a run that was going really well a few minutes ago before my right hand decided it had had enough at the tapping section. Hopefully this break will give it enough time to recover for one last glorious run.

Thought about saving this for late Saturday morning, but decided not to be an asshole. Probably won't be good enough to last, but it's good enough for the lead right now. And at the very least, the streak will be pretty tough to beat without acing the tapping.

Disappointed but last night I hurt my hand playing Way of the Samurai, I have no idea what I done but I've never felt pain like that in my hand before so I've passed on guitar the past two days. I still feel tenderness in my wrist when I move my hand up and down so no more scores for me this week! Nice song choice though and I'd like to keep working on it when this is over.

So my scores are final

Out of power as in there's a power outage due to the thunderstorms yesterday? Because there was some pretty epic lightning and rain yesterday afternoon (while driving) and night (after reaching my destination), which included a tornado watch (pretty much unheard of in northern New England). Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised at all if those storms knocked out power in a bunch of places.

 

Anyway, I hope it's resolved soon!
