-= Building a Guitar from Scratch with Absolutely No Woodworking Experience =-

Hey all,

I'm taking a leave of absence for about a month. (I'll be around to monitor, etc).

I have a wrist surgery scheduled today @ noon EST. Obviously I won't be able to play guitar, type, do basic functions for awhile until I get my cast removed and my hand is healed.
(FYI: I have a cyst on top of a nerve on my left wrist which is my primary hand...and surprisingly I play guitar right handed)

 

Hopefully everything goes perfect. My wonderful staff here at CustomsForge will take care of the site while I am in recovery/rehab. 

And yes, a month or so without guitar is going to drive me literally insane. My calluses will go away and everything :( But I'm looking forward to even getting better after the surgery!

edit: I'm recovering now and they said it was huge! Thanks for all of the support.

edit2: 4/16/2015 Update
New cast and a new prescription of oxy for the pain. I've been dealing with pain but I do have full movement coming back to my hand. I just can't use it for another two weeks and I have a follow up in 4 weeks.

Hope everything goes perfect @@Unleashed2k. My primary hand is my right, yet I play guitar left handed. :P  Probably has something to do with your strong hand wanting to do the fretting or something. I know you'll come back stronger than ever.

don't forget to take lots of performance enhancing drugs to help speed the recovery. now that spring training is over and Alex Rodriguez is back in new York, there must but a lot of HGH in tampa ;).

When I was in hospital, I managed to create a CDLC… I still haven't finished it though. :D

Recovery will take a few time, but then everything will be as before or even better.

ha, I don't mix heavy pain killers and alcohol like some rock stars but the pain is gone at least from my prescription :)

Good idea not mixing those we don't need you ending like some of those rock stars.
