I trying to figure out how to make a CDLC without it having the background song.  I want to make lessons and exercises without the music.  I am using Guitar Pro files when I import the tracks.  I had to use a random Mp3 in EOF.  Is there a way to remove the song?  I guess I could use a silent MP3.  If anybody know a better way or technique please let us know.

Maybe try in the toolkit packing with the volume of the song 0 or something.  I haven't tried it.  The silent MP3 idea is good too.

If you're going to make exercises psarc I suggest using a metronome track, maybe at 200bpm or less, so the user can set the speed in the riff repeater.

Where does one get the "metronome track"?  Also sometimes you just want to play solo.

You can add a drum track in Guitar Pro. Google drum notation for how to do the tab.

Use something like hi hat, kick or snare (or a combination). Mute any other tracks and export as wav.

Edited to add link for drum notation.
