I don't understand how you can have dynamic difficulty with only 1 level.  How does that work?

Very late answer, but:

It is not obvious how many levels the DDC created. You can enable "Generate Log" and look at the logfile to find out how many difficulty levels each arrangement has... but lots of people don't know / do that.

"1" is the default value for the number of levels, so I'd say in all those cases charters didn't know or cared about how many levels they actually had.

 

And to be honest, before DDC, when people created levels manualy, this field might have been useful, but with DDC it is just not important anymore...

That was actually around my first run, but after i beat it I was like "I can 100% this" restarted until i got it.

I claim sight reads when I actually do them, this wasnt one

Ah, alrighty then!  That makes sense (as most things do looking back on them).  Maybe I should drop a suggestion to change the default to a "Y" or "N" (based on the value for the DDC field) rather than a number and give the contributing author the option to change  it to the appropriate number of levels.  It would be less confusing to noobs like me (especially the OCD ones).

that's right. But if I change this the stats of the CDLC will be reset? I'm not sure about this, and if new points of tone changes will reset the stats, how can I avoid this?

Not sure what is going on but I am unable to play my Bass with Rocksmith as it is not outputting any sound. Its not the wire as I have tried a spare cable and my guitars all work fine using the same cable. This just started happening to me today as I haven't had a chance to play for a few days and wanted to play the bass but now I cannot. I tried switching from emulated and back and have tried the same cable on my Xbox One and I am having the same problems. I have connected my Bass to my amp and am getting output there so I know it can't be the Bass as its a Brand new bass as well. If anyone has run into this problem and been able to fix it please let me know. For now I will play the guitar tracks until I can figure this out.

Silly question, but have you gone through calibration?  Also, it doesn't have active pickups, does it - battery flat?  On second thoughts, you'd get nothing through the amp with a flat battery either...

I'm still RRing Johnny B.Goode to death to try and get my hands to warm to it... it's getting there slowly but not going to submit a score 'til the end of the week. I got on with Amy again though... bass line is f'ing gorgeous on this :)

Oh, yes.  And I'm still skiving.  Tonight, I can't believe how easily I managed to get through a Queens of the Stone Age song, that I'd originally played over 6 months ago, and missed half the notes at the time.  I've got to put my increase in speed down to trying some of the mental songs in this competition, honestly. :)
