Wonderful week that was - hammer songs, i really wished it would have another 7 days.

 

My choice Moneytalks led to a small arousal of minds cause of the very difficult tab used in the beginning, but as for my first choice Tribute @@Nacholede, this time @ jumped in with a hammer version, and everybody had a great time and was happy.

 

.... I wonder who will have to redo KKK this week - lets prove if i am a little cursed :) :)

 

And we get Deathray in mi classa - uh yeah!!

 

I would love to say lets mf go, but half of my cable is left at home... Damn, gotta wait another day.

Very easy, but extremely boring haha. Less than 200 notes in a 6 minute song, but the guitar is brutal! Good luck to the guitarists attempting it.

Gonna skip Devin Townsend for now, will play it if I feel like downtuning my bass.

First try at Maiden, fun song and fairly basic Maiden, but the solo is tough and will take some practice.

Beginner Bass - 100%, 198 streak

Sorry MasterClass lead participants :P

 

Intermediate Bass - 100%, 662 streak

I'm not a fan of Ramones, from all what they did I like only Spider-Man :P That was boring, it felt like an hour, but I did. 2 times!

 

Advanced Bass - 97%, 118 streak

It's not really Advanced bass, but that's the 3rd toughest song, so here it goes. It's not bad, not bad at all.

 

I didn't get valid Maiden pic. I was getting quite poor guitar scores, so I have no idea how to rate it. On top of that, that's one of few Maiden songs that I don't like...

Of course "For the love of God" is an absolute dream, but I'm not ready, I won't even try it.... It would be unapropriate....

I am feeling pain for the beginner bass players this week ( are there any out there? Hello? ello? llo? lo? o? ) Because , quite literally, for the love of god! I lay back and thought of England while praying for Steve Vai to finish up his guitar wanking... Hands down, the man's a genius but fuxache! The little quote at the end had me Lolling though ... I "snot bubbled" and everything! :D

I've played through Can I Play With Madness and the bass tone is hurting my ears. Might give it another go later with a different one. I don't particularly care for deathray so I think, if I'm going to play anything this week it's going to be Maiden.

You know, im okay if im only 73% as good as Vai right now...

does that mean i can make 73% of what Vai makes?

going to be a fun week!

I just wanted to thank all the participants and organizers for making the Championships a thing. I've seen huge improvement in the month I've been here, even faster than previously, which is saying something considering how far I've come in the 3 years I've been playing Rocksmith.

 

This is a really good week!!  More awesome Canadian metal in Devin Townsend, and Maiden. Hell yeah. And the MC... For the Love of God is one of my favourite songs ever. I am super stoked for these songs.  :D

 

That said, scores! I got a good night's rest and I got white girl wasted on tea. Then I played some of the songs.

 

I can play with madness! That high chorus riff made me scratch my head for a bit but then I caught on later.

Hi everyone,

 

since we have some very good charters and players here, I wanted to post a request for help.

I am currently improving one of my customs, but I'm stuck with identifying two (I guess) pinch harmonics that weren't charted properly in my sources.

 

I posted a help request in the workshop a week ago, but noone has replied yet. Probably because this song is in Open C (It's "Life", by Devin Townsend).
